To me they are the perfect cross between crumb bumper plates and iron plates. They are thinner and more solid than traditional bumper plates, but also allow you to do olympic/crossfit style workouts. My biggest gripe is that they are slick and hard to grip. Picking up a 45lb plate is definitely a 2 handed operation. Rogues Shipping charges really force you to buy these in a set. A pair of 45lbs will cost you almost the same as a 160lbs set. If you are patient enough to wait for November Rogue usually offers these with discounted shipping if you just needed single pairs for some reason.

Yup! Its a barbell. For me it was between this and the regular Ohio bar. The fact it doesn't make a loud metal on metal sound when deadlifting or bouncing off the floor is a plus that puts it above the Ohio bar for me. The endcap is a nice touch. Smooth sleeves are appreciated. Knurling is just okay, a tad bit passive IMO.

This is the Go-To Women's Crossfit bar. When my wife and I started our home gym I couldn't justify buying 2 barbells, So I got this to accommodate us both. I trained with it about a year before getting a Colorado bar. Big takeaways: It has a shorter sleeve length than a full-size barbell so it fits tight spaces better. It is also lighter at 33lbs rather than the traditional 45lbs. I personally love the knurling, feels like sandpaper or grip tape. The biggest downside is the shaft diameter at 25mm, is very thin. On heavier lifts you will feel more pressure in your hands because of it. Deadlifting is okay, benching heavy I found to be uncomfortable. Other than that great bar. We will never get rid of it.

One word: Underrated. Great knurling (passive/medium). Great shaft diameter (32mm) If they went up 70-80lbs I’d call them perfect. Regardless, great value for almost half the price of the Reppins. (Note: They offer a KG version now which goes up to 66lbs for the same price.)
