The Dead Wedge

The Dead Wedge

The Dead Wedge is an affordable, portable, easy-to-use alternative to traditional deadlift jacks. Made from a durable natural rubber with a non-slip design, the Dead Wedge’s contoured loading ramp enables athletes to roll a barbell securely onto the elevated platform, making loading and unloading quick and stress-free—no matter the amount of weight. It's also compatible with hexagonal, polygonal, and standard sized bumper plates.

You need to do one side at a time, but it still works great It’s easy to carry around if you visit a commercial gym & it takes up no space I don’t feel the need to buy a deadlift jack; this is adequate

Good price. Back in like 2015 this was only $9.95 on Amazon but I digress. It does require a bit of effort to roll onto the wedge at anything above 4 plates. But for what it is, the price and how often it really gets used it's really good value.

Can't say I'm a fan, more work then a deadlift jack, easier to just manhandle the weight on the bar, also our wedge snapped in half last week (commercial gym)

I know these are in place of deadlift jack but I bought them for another purpose which they work great. My deadlift platform is level but the floor/horse stall mats are not. The bar with plates on it will rolls sometime so I use these to wedge behind plates and now bar does not roll.

As small as it is its actually quite useful and holds up well. Works perfectly doing block pulls when you don't have a single jack

It's cheap and it works. I've had mine for six years and no issues. Included some micro gainz plates in the photo for scale

Neat product to throw in the gym bag if you go to a commercial gym (as if). Don't use it as much at home now since I have a different set up but very affordable and does it's job well.

Best budget option for jacking up your deadlifts! Takes up no space whatsoever, I keep mine in my gym bag for when I travel. Works well, you just have to make sure you line it up right and not have it under the plates you are trying to unload. It’s not perfect, single or double sided jacks are way better but take up more space and cost more. I’ve used mine for years, way better than unloading without one or using a 2.5 lb plate which will damage up your plates.

Cheap simple option that takes up no space. I generally would use a pretty wide bumper plate to start when I was using this so it was easy to line up well enough to get a stable setup. Obviously not as good as a real deadlift jack but if you're short on space it gets the job done. I also use it on top of blocks when i couldn't use a jack, so it still gets used even though I upgraded (slightly).

They work for deadlifting in a pinch if you dont have a jack, mine are currently giving my reverse hyper an angle which in my opinion is a better use.
