Great bar didn't see the option for the cerakote version ohio bar but that is the one I have.

This is my go to daily driver bar. Training is more Crossfit focused and this bar is exactly what you'd expect for high rep olympic lifts. The knurling is more passive, which I prefer for this type of work. The Stainless / Stainless finish is worth every penny to me. The bar is 3-4 years old and still looks amazing.

A great quality bar, but never will be a fan of two rings on it and no center knurling. Not sure how it can be called a multi use bar when you can't even effectively squat on it, while a power bar you truly can use for anything

Like I said in other reviews on the Ohio bar. It is the best, especially for your buck and quality combination for a general purpose bar and the best variation of that bar, is this with the stainless steel!

This is a terrific bar. Looks nice. Feels amazing as the knurl is perfect for me. I wanted a solid, well built, affordable bar - this was it. The price was great compared to the many other alternatives.

This is a great all around bar. Sure, it lacks the center knurl but that's a deal breaker with this bar. The knurling is just aggressive enough that it won't slip out of your hands, it takes chalk well, and it's a very aesthetically pleasing bar. Since I got the Texas Power bar, the Rogue Ohio bar has been relegated to my 'beater' bar. I use this bar primarily for rack pulls and land mine work and still, this bar holds up. The build quality is amazing and it's a great beginner bar.

Love this bar. For the price, I don't know if it gets much better than this one. If you like doing barbell work, get a good one right away that will fit your needs.

Probably the best general purpose bar out there. If I could only have one barbell for my gym, this would be it since I do the olympic lifts as well as powerlifting movements. I bought the stainless version after using the black zinc version for 7 years. The knurling is passive yet grippy. Tolerances are really tight so there's no slop. Looks brand new after I clean it. If you're only into powerlifting and don't do olympic lifts, you'd be better off with the Ohio Power Bar.

For a multi use bar, you can find cheaper, but you probably won't find anything noticeably better. The knurl is great for my uses, it's grippy enough for my low rep sets and won't tear my hands up on higher rep sets. The shaft being stainless steel makes the knurl noticeably grippier than a coated option. After a workout my hands will usually be sore from the knurl but I've only had this bar for 4 months and it's my first bar that has noticeable knurl so I just haven't gotten used to it yet. If you find one used, id say it's an insta-buy, new it is a little pricey but I's still recommend. I bought mine new and the price hurt a little at the time but knowing it'll last me for the rest of my life makes it feel more like an investment and makes the price a much easier pill to swallow

My go to bar for front squats, RDL,s and barbell press. The knurl is nice and grippy but not sharp as it should be for its purpose. Never had any issues with any of the Stainless bars I have bought from rogue.
Purchased used for $100 in 2025
