Expensive, but a really sweet idea to turn your rack into a smith machine without having to buy one. Perfect for a home gym setting

The VTS is a fantastic attachment for your rack which adds a ton of variety for upper and lower body movements. It's incredibly well built, feels premium, and can handle all the weight you throw at it. Dialing in the rollers is tedious (check out MWPiG's setup video on Youtube to see what I mean) but makes the VTS pretty damn smooth for a roller-based trolley system. Performance-wise, it operates just as you'd expect from a smith machine and is actually quieter than most smith attachments.
Unfortunately, it's heavy by default though. With a standard 45lb barbell, you're looking at a starting weight of around 95lbs. With iso handles, you're looking at ~30-35lbs per handle. Swapping barbells/handles isn't difficult, but definitely inconvenient enough that I find myself not choosing movements that would require me to do so during my workouts. Value-wise, it's a premium attachment that I feel warrants the price tag; I find that it adds enough exercise variety to my home gym that makes it incredibly valuable. If I were only looking for barbell smith machine movements though, I'd look to the VTS Lite instead. I am skeptical about the hex port ecosystem because I haven't found that useful yet, but I'm hoping BPF releases compatible attachments that interest me in the future.

I love my vts . The fact that you can also use it as a leg press and iso work makes it superior to the competition

The Vts has worked very well for what I use them for. They could be a little lighter My wife can not use them with the starting weight of about 45 pounds. They are a bear to get adjusted correct But once they are set up No worries.

This is probably my favorite piece in my gym. Since it doesn’t use rails, you can still use your J cups and other attachments on your uprights. You can be really creative with how you use this since both sides are independent and you can mount a bar of almost any diameter. For example, I have my Rorman Strength Wholly Handles mounted on 1 inch band pegs so I can incline press at a deficit. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a smith machine and likes to tinker with things.

I’ve had the VTS for about a month. Put it on when getting a new rack. Install was easy. It stores out of the way at the bottom or top of upright. Easily connects to Voltras. For pressing moments, I use iso handles. For squats, I use the featherlite bar. The one thing to keep in mind is that it has a fairly high starting weight about 70 pounds with featherlite bar. I recommend it.
