I've had this for several years now. The good: Does tons of exercises and can connect to the wall or rack. Pretty easy to load. Great for exercises like lateral raises, single arm flies, etc. Mostly can replace a functional trainer. You can find similar machines now on amazon for cheaper too and they are all most likely the same. The bad: The main post is only 1.5" so there is a ton of flex at heavy weights. Not even that heavy, like even if I have only 50lbs on there is a ton of flex. This is most seen in exercises like chest supported or seated rows. I am actually scared it might snap at some point. Realistically it should bend not snap but it is a concern. If I were going back I'd get one of the more expensive machines thats has at least a 2" post if not 2.5 or 3".

This is a great machine for the price. Only the Bells of Steel cable tower is in the price range. I used mine for a few months, before going for a rogue slinger (to save space), which I then upgraded to a voltra This cable tower is better than the plate loaded slinger and can handle a surprising amount of weight. I've loaded around 200lbs in plates on it, without issue I've seen these go on facebook marketplace for around $100 or so, which is a great deal for a starter cable tower or your permanent solution for a cable tower, if you don't really use cables much

I got this because one of my main issues with the home gym was having an option for cable movements, that being said it’s good but there’s some set backs to it. I truly think that if you’re looking for something for cable movements just try to find a functional trainer that you like/ fits your budget. But this got me by for 5 years and I got my moneys worth out of it

Dollar for dollar, it is really hard to top it in terms of budget cable solutions especially in basement with low ceilings. However, the top pin setting does have the infamous scraping and is borderline unusable for some movements with both cables being utilized without an incredibly awkward hitch. However, for pretty much every other movement, it feels smooth and is easy enough to set up and mount. I have loaded 300lbs without feeling any jumps or spookiness without issue.

I got this knowing it wasn’t going to be the most wonderful and highest quality piece ever. I definitely believe it is better than any other economic option besides maybe bells of steel. My main complaints are that unless you have diy add ons like making a chest fly or lat pull down, you are kinda limited in what you can really do. I love that it has a great weight capacity and the price is next to nothing for what you are getting. I definitely think that the pulleys when you have it at the highest height scrape against the cable stops and can be annoying. I also think you need to upgrade the pulleys to aluminum. I will be upgrading to a vultra at some point but if you’re in a budget and have the room don’t waste your money on the Amazon options just get this you will not regret it until you’re ready to upgrade.

I think this is a perfect option if cables make up a small part of your training. I use it primarily for tricep pushdowns and curls, and occasionally low rows. Personally, I don’t need to spend $1000s on cable machines for 2-3 assistance exercises that I do once a week. I’ve attached it to both a rack and wall and like how compact it is.

For a budget that has gotten me through 3 years it has been fine. Looking to upgrade to the Ares 2.0, so it has been a place holder until I can upgrade. But for minimal room, and on a budget, it has been fine. With other options on the market from when I bought this there may be better options, but the price is still low.

Ok so I kinda wish on value, I could give this like 6 stars because for the $200 I spent, this thing was amazing. Now, that said, if you are spending $200 keep the expectations in check but honestly, if you need a cable tower and don't care if it uses plates, you could do much worse. I am going to be selling mine soon just because I upgraded to the Getrxd Viper (those tornado arms sold me) but this was a great piece for my gym while I had it. I did upgrade the pullies and have a bit of a diy lat pulldown attachment situation going as well with it but even without those additions, it worked great.
