X-3 Series Power Rack

X3 was my first rack in the 3x3 tube sizing. Its such an awesome value when on sale. Id say this is the best cheap 3x3 if you arent planning to upgrade to cables like Ares later on.

I definitely went for it because of the price, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it looks in my gym. I went with the 3”x3” posts with 5/8th spacing. I didn’t have much experience with Westside spacing; I think It’s very advantageous and I’m glad I have a rack with one. As for the build quality, I use a Rogue Monster rack at my commercial gym, and that would be my model for five star quality. I don’t love the J-hooks that came with the rack, but that’s honestly the only negative I can say about the purchase.

People hold 3x3 with 1 inch holes as the paragon of rack design, but I maintain that having closer spaced hole positions (Westside spacing) is much more beneficial. This rack is cheap, and strong, the welds are pretty good, and there weren't any issues with the powder coat.

This will be the only power rack I own. Not because it's the industry best, but because it's good enough for me to never need to upgrade, and instead spend money on attachments and weight and things I care more about. I'm glad I went with a 3"x3" (actually 75mm x 75mm) with 5/8" hardware (actually 16mm AKA M16). Once you know the actual specs, you can adjust accordingly. Two rep cave is a great resource to see what your rack is compatible with, and the X-3 is compatible with Rep's PR4000, Griffin's GR3 Lite, and Vulcan's nobody cares. Having access to Titan's sales and Rep's quality with free shipping either way makes this a great eco-system to be in. The 5/8" is annoying for leg rollers, and I can't use my Mutant Metals handles on my rack, but unless you care a lot about leg rollers and handles anywhere on your rack, this is the way to go. Get the 90" tall if you have the height in your space.

Got and put into a gym on a loaner to help a buddy. It’s a pretty damn solid rack all things considered. Would I run 1000 lb attempts out of it? Probably not. But I didn’t see anything that made me think “I wouldn’t use this in a home gym”

I have only benched in one of these racks once. I'm just so used to my monster lite; you could spot the differences in quality from the welds to the cross members, even down to the j-cups. But this might also be the right fit for your gym and all you need. Know your why when it comes to equipment.

Got on sale years ago one of the best values then solid rack, that being said going to 1" holed bolt down later this year. Has served me perfectly tho.

Solid rack and great budget item. I just wish that the connectors between uprights were the same color as the upright.

Great budget friendly rack. Some of the posts were hard to line up when screwing together so I’m not sure if one of mine was bent on shipping but it’s hardly noticeable.

Really no complain on the rack. All of my attachments also come from Titan and they work well. The powercoat still looks good after 3 years of use.
