Before this piece I was using basically a high end pool noodle that synched around the bar. It worked out but always found it rotated to an unwanted position. This pad from ambit is comfortable and I never have an issue with is shifting.

While these are typically free with the purchase of a rack and they perform well, the ones I have are black zinc... or should I say were, as they're now a greenish hue from oxidation, hence the build quality score.

This thing is solid! The padded edges are a real nice touch. You get best of both worlds with the sturdiness of the wood, but the protection for your shins when you mess up. They also offer customization options which is the only box of its kind to do so that I'm aware of. Just pricey!

It's everything you like about the OG Genesis jack but in a different material. Thing works great and is a budget friendly option if you don't want to drop the money on the aluminum one.

These get a lot of flak from people saying you can just make your own. While you totally can, doing so would be a pain in the ass and these are fairly cheap. If you have vertical bar storage these things are a necessity in my opinion!

Pretty standard fare there, nothing over the top, but no complaints either. If you have a REP rack these can work well. These do not translate over well to imperial style racks however, so be warned if trying to adapt.

There's nothing wrong with these, but I dislike how they take up so much room on an upright. They're still solid though but a lot of better options unless you just want to stick with REP.

If you're looking for a small, portable and efficient jack, this is the best one on the market. The design makes it so lifting a heavily loaded bar requires almost no leverage, whereas a traditional mini jack requires quite a bit of force.
