This was my first real bench, and I had made the decision to get as much functionality as possible. It ended up being that I didn't want the leg roller or decline function, and was limited by not being able to store the bench upright in my small space. The bench is also a little higher than standard, and when flat you could feel the top of the bench flex a bit under heavy weight.

This cable tower works well enough for being extremely budget oriented. Every session where I do more than one or two movements on the machine I find myself wishing I had gotten a selectorized version, both for speed of change, but also because mounting proximity limits the diameter of plate I can use, so I have to stack a lot of 25s on. The only issue I've had with the machine itself is one of the pulley brackets was welded on slightly crooked from the factory. I've straightened it the best I can, but I permanently have one cable that's smoother than the other.

This tib bar is extremely well made, but unfortunately doesn't work very well as. The gap between the posts is so large that it will only sit properly on my quite large (13 2E) feet if I wear a thick soled running shoe, otherwise you're swimming in the space. The padding is also quite firm so once you put more than 50 pounds on it hurts the top of my foot. I also have the "tib bar guy" equivalent model and it's much more ergonomic, but less robust.

These are one of the cheapest options for a rubber change plate set, mine came in at $3.7 per pound. They feel nice in the hand, and uniquely are printed with the markings are both sides of the plates. The markings are just screen printed in a flat section of the plate, so I'm sure that will wear off with time.

I think these are probably the most fun plate currently made, and has a real vintage charm. The outer edge having a rounded profile is also a very unique look on the bar. The plates in the image of the review were custom painted as an homage to the Zuver Gym plates.

I bought this specifically because it's smaller than the other trap bar options for use in my small bedroom gym. The knurling is very passive, and it can be a little cramped for a big guy. I used it to train a 400lb frame carry, running around the yard with it and it held up fine. The spinning sleeves are mostly useless, but you can roll it around that way.

I picked up some of the CAP "competition series" bumpers for my mom's gym. They're less greasy than some of the other cheap plates out there, but they do still stink. The color they're molded in looks pretty nice, but the painted text looks pretty cheesy.

It's nicely machined from solid steel with tig welded flanges, and perfectly bomb proof. It is pretty expensive for a single use handle, but it's a lot cheaper than the dumbbells it replaces.
