Like others have said, it’s an awkward bar to move/store. It’s a solid bar and keeps me honest with my bar path so I keep it around. I picked this up used and couldn’t imagine paying the current retail or even sale price for this. If you can find a good deal on the used market that’s the route to go. Could be just me but I haven’t figured out a way to set up spotters arms with this bar. Something to consider if you have a similar set up

All the good and specialty bars were locked up at the gym I was going to so i picked this up and would bring my own. It was my first equipment purchase and going on 11 years old. I’m always happy to give my money to the team at Texas Power Bar.

This came with the r-3 but I already had a multi grip pull-up bar so this was perfect to have a nameplate welded on. Helps stabilize the rack as well. It works fine as a pull up bar but not something i would purchase otherwise

Picked these up used off OfferUp and have no complaints. Using these for bench has been super helpful and even better when doing static holds. They are beefy and moving them could be issue if you have shoulder problems. They are regularly on the used market and are worth picking up if you can find a good deal on them

Like others said you can get cheaper ones but these are built to last and aren’t budging while in use. Hard to go wrong with supporting companies that are part of the community. Protect yourself out there.

Picked this up in 2017/2018 before everyone started to come out with their own functional trainers and single cable columns. If I was buying today, I would go that route because of the foot print and weight ratio. This is a 4-1 and good for sports/dynamic movements. Can do lots on it including unilateral work. It’s commercial grade and two users will never wear this down. Has attachment storage and multiple pull up grips if you have the ceiling height. For a home gym, it’s hard to recommend due to its size, it’s a pain to move, and cost even on the used market.

Pick this up for $260 with the intent to trade it for something else. working the head/peak is different but It’s a good movement that I was surprised by how much I liked it. Like the preacher curl, it’s not necessary. it makes training convenient and enjoyable. I am big fan of the Cybex classic line; simple designs, built to last, smaller footprints, and you can still get most replacement parts from full circle padding or other suppliers if need be. Another thing, is this uses Allen key bolts to secure the guide rods so removing the weight stack is easy and the frame was light enough for me to load it myself. It’s a one trick pony but if you can find it for a good price then it’s worth considering.

My dad was able to find this on marketplace and got a decent deal 2-3 years ago. It’s a fairly compact with a 205lb stack. The swivel handles are the best part of the machine, you can do normal, hammer, and reverse grip curls making it versatile. I had the handles modified with the rogue h-5 aluminum ones and it’s made the feel that much better. It’s not a necessary machine but it nice to hop on and get a pump going.
