Only drawback for this item is that it requires an open spot in the barbell holder rack or you need a rack with a barbell holder. I was lucky enough to get the later and it doesn’t take up space where I want to store barbells!
I have two versions of this. One is scrap metal welded together to hold my metal plates. I also have a wooden tree made of extra lumber, dowel rods & inch steel pipe.
I use this thing weekly. I all different types of arm exercises with it. I can do triceps, biceps, & shoulders. It also comes in many colors so you can match your gym color way!
Original design was for large farm animals and we have repurposed the mats to save our concrete floors. The only downfall is they are not all created equal in size and surface.
Used scrap wood laying around and put together two separate storage units that are about 5’ long. They are dual level. I even store medicine balls below
