Pretty darn amazing. It holds anything you need with that huge magnet.

Update from a now dual-certified facility. I had the OG Massenomics cert. I was content. I was foolish. I added the Gym Radar certification and the benefits did not add — they multiplied. Where one banner once whispered “you may lift,” two banners now scream it in unison. My gym has never felt so complete. Can’t promise the numbers on the bar went up, but the vibes went thermonuclear. Strangers ask me for programming advice. I don’t even train them. I just point at both walls and nod. If you only have one certification, what are you even doing? You’re running a gym at half power. Get dual certified or get comfortable being mortal.

I’ll be honest, I went in skeptical. I came out certified, changed, and slightly afraid. The certification process broke me down and rebuilt me into something that re-racks its plates and means it. The flag is thick — and I mean thick. This is not a flag you hold up to a window. This is a flag you hold up to your standards. The cardstock on the certificate has a heft to it that suggests the people who made it have never once in their lives done a half rep. Hung it on the wall. Gym immediately felt 30% more serious.

This brush is amazing. Whether maintaining a barbell after a normal training session, or restoring a vintage barbell with years of chalk buildup, this brush makes quick work of it all. A MUST HAVE for any gym. Pro tip - Barbell Rescue's multi-purpose oil is expensive, but worth every penny. It doesn't leave an oily residue like 3:1 oil. It's become my go-to for all of my plates and bars.

These are awesome. Quick to swap attachments, and important to help prevent cable twisting. They are super smooth, unlike some of the cheap Amazon options. I highly recommend them.

The Atlas Barbell 45lb deep dish plate is one of my favorite-looking deep dish plates. It has that Canadian vintage iron history and enough character to make even normal lifts feel a little more fun. The hub makes it great for hub lifting, but even on the bar it adds some extra personality to the gym.

The REP Multi-Grip Curl Bar works well and has good knurling for me. The angles are decent, and it gets the job done for the curl and arm work I use it for. I actually need to use it more.

The Ares 2.0 is a great foundation for a versatile rack-based cable setup. I have mine on a 93-inch 6-post rack and use it four days a week. Operation is smooth, the system is versatile, and it gives you a lot of room to expand your setup over time. If you think you will want the weight stack upgrade, buy it up front. Adding it later is not hard, but taking apart the weight stack is tedious. The main downside is installation. The manual is not very helpful, and the REP install video is basically required. Cable twist is also something to watch for, even if you are careful. Be ready to re-run the cables if needed. It is not difficult, but it is annoying because you have to remove and reinstall the safeties. Aftermarket swivel shackles at the cable ends are worth considering to help reduce twist.
