I've been dealing with a nagging pinch in my right shoulder while benching for nearly 8 months. I picked up a Kadillac bar to try switching my grip but it's still the depth that causes my pain. This perfect piece of gym kit has allowed me to bench again with nearly no pain since my pain came around only in full depth bench.

Got this as a blem discount (nothing noticeable, pretty mint) and I figured my future kids might get a kick out of it on rainy days as I had a space jam net when I was little and loved it. It's fun for me to mess around with but unfortunately my basement ceilings are too low to get a really good arc on a jump shot. Also as Big Adrian mentioned, the ball and even the mesh, really require an upgrade. Still it's a fun little addition to the gym. I originally bought the Bells knock off and returned it because theirs requires permanent bolting to the rack whereas Oak Clubs can be moved around with a mag pin which I definitely like!

Being in Canada the cost to ship and pay border fees for this product were high so it took me a while to pull the trigger. But ultimately there wasn't any suitable alternative, this product is so original and cool, and serves it's purpose so well. I love it on my rack, and it holds my SSB + Kadillac Bar perfectly (although the Kadillac bar requires a hook in the joist above with a little piece of string girth hitched around the bar to keep it from rolling into the SSB since it's an awkward bar). Since my gym is very small this was the best bar storage option for me!

I'm probably the 10 millionth person to say this but I legitimately love these things. As a frugal person I was on the fence for a while trying to find cheaper options that might suit me just as well, but I also value well made products and convenience so I ultimately decided to "buy once cry once" and I'm incredibly glad I did. I love how easy these things are to change weights, they've added a whole new range of accessories and injury workarounds to my workouts as I've been primarily doing barbell training. I played around with setting the guides for a couple minutes and happily haven't had any issues with jamming them as others have had, and I've purposely tried to be sloppy with returning them to the cradle. It does seem like the plates will get scratched from using them often but that's the reality of metal on metal and they are meant to be used! If you're on the fence as I was but can push your budget, I highly recommend the Repins I don't think you'll be disappointed!

These plates are incredible quality, and feel amazing to lift with. Before buying two sets of 45's I was only using bumper plates, and handling and squatting with these iron plates feels so much better obviously. Unfortunately being in Canada I can't speak on the purchase of these plates new as I didn't want to roll the dice on customs, duties, and tariffs, but my second hand sets are like new, I just had to wait longer than I would've liked before I found some.
