No notes! I love this bar. It was the first specialty bar I purchased and it gets used multiple times a week. I like it feels decent if you have smaller hands, and the knurling is second to none. I have the bare steel and just have a little discoloration where my hands sit, even after several years.

Is this the prettiest axle bar out there, no, but it sure gets the job done at a very valuable price. My really strong friends recommend it to me and it hasn’t done me wrong. My only wish is that the center line came pre marked but it’s not too bad to add some tape after a little measuring.

I picked this up from an older lady who was moving to a retirement village with a gym so she had no use for it, it was a steal. This thing was and still is in excellent shape and you can tell it was built for a more commercial type space. Happy I struck gold with this thing for those extremely cold Midwestern days!

I bought these because the j-cups that come with the Fitness Reality rack are trash. These are the right price and protect my bar much better than the stock version. The screws stripped out very early on but I don’t feel like I need it. Good for a inexpensive upgrade but if you can afford more, buy something different.

If you are a mediocre lifter like me then this rack will suffice. Would I love to upgrade to something new and shiny someday, sure, but this rack has been put through the ringer and after several years and it is still holding up with no issues. I did upgrade to better j-cups because the stock ones are not good at all and we had to strap it to the floor to make it a bit more sturdy but overall it gets the job done and has allowed me to use funds on other items that were in higher demand for my gym. Oh also, it is not built for tall people so don't even think about it if you are over 5'5". I even find myself wishing I had more height for pressing, especially from a higher position but the height does not allow for the holes to get high enough. Other than all that, it is fine.

I have used this bar every week for multiple years and it is one of my favorite "budget" buys. It has held up extremely well but I am the only one using it so not sure how it would if it had multiple users. Regardless, this piece of equipment has helped me get big gains in my squat.

Kim at Barbell Rescue has really come up wit something ingenious here. I love how well it cleans my barbell after a good deadlift session and I love that i can personalize it by getting a colored insert of my choosing. I did knock off one star on performance because I do have my hand slip off sometimes so if there was a strap to insert your hand into while cleaning to prevent slippage, that would be amazing. It would take this from great to excellent!

This is my go to on the rare occasion I have an energy drink in a can versus having a mix in my Massenomic's shaker bottle. I love that it fits over my energy drinks AND inside the OG drink spotter so I can be doubly safe. Then the magnets allow me to keep it right on the rack for easy use anytime it is needed.
