These are not as expensive as most of JDs other attachments. I had him shorten the Hammer handles because handles longer than 3” will tend to add torque on your wrist in use. I think the SS ball ending option I chose feels comfortable. They feel great for tricep kickbacks, hammer curls and single arm pushdowns. I rated the performance at 3 stars in their normal format/length, if you opt for shortened ones the performance jumps up.

I have both the standard length and the short 12” versions. Nothing special here. They are durable and helpful in a variety of applications, banded deadlifts, BP, on belt squat, with Bullet Proof Isolator, warm ups, etc. These are likely the very same product from overseas but labeled “Rogue” thereby increasing the price. They work…but so does an off brand right?

Yeah, you could easily cut some of these out of foam and achieve the same thing, but why not get a stack already made and spend that time on something else. They work great in stacking scenarios for sure. I use them to place between my wall mounted weight horns and the Calibrated ATX chrome plates do the bolts don’t scratch up the plates. I use them also between each plate on horn for easy grabs.

My pad had some great uses. Primarily as chest supported row. It stowed easily just hanging on upright. It’s built superbly and the leather upholstery is top grain. This style of attachment was the first of its kind. Now you see the Thresher pad, Exponent Edge Infinity Arm, BOS Seal Row Pad, Revolt, Pegasus, …all kinds of permutations. With all the other options that have a greater amount of adjustment positions for bracket and pad, it’s hard for me to still recommend this. It’s workhorse…but it’s being outdone now by other options.

Love mine and their install. I mounted mine to a ceiling joist and have a magnet that attaches to the ceiling brackets that the rings are held in place with. This keeps them out of the way when not in use, and a quick tug to release them from the magnet and they are ready to use. I use the Rogue competition straps since they are short and have no excess straps hanging or bunched up, thereby looking cleaner, but still easy to set at proper heights between floor pushups, dips and strict muscle ups. These style metal rings I think were one of the first pieces that Rogue came out with? They are durable, have a nice slightly textured powder coat that takes chalk well, the straps are great too.

I’m sorta skewed with these. I love these because they have allowed me to perform Olympic lifts in my basement despite a lower ceiling height. They also allow me to do standing OHP. When I have them on my Olympic bar, sitting on crash cushions, the starting floor pull is at same distance as with normal sized bumper plates, so that’s a plus as well. I utilize them with the Rogue DB -15 dumbbells and the C60-B straight bar made for dumbbell bumpers (for straight bar curls). I also use them on my CUBB because the sleeve collars on that are identically sized as the C-60B sleeve collars and the recess in the dumbbell bumpers fits perfectly over them - thereby increasing the usable sleeve space. Others may find these cumbersome and odd I imagine. But for me in my gym they are awesome.

I love my PR 5000 V2. I got the basic 4 post with deep crossmembers. This rack has evolved with me effortlessly. I have “expanded” my attachments like crazy and the REP PR 5000 has never failed me. I don’t have any REP attachments on it at all actually. I have Mutant Metals, Force6, Rogue, Sorinex, Oak Club, Titan, Stray Dog Strength, Prime Fitness, Revolt, etc. Some attachments I had to slightly mod to fit snugly (going from imperial to metric). The ability to expand outside of a brand’s ecosystem is not unique to REP. It just has to do with a more standardized compatibility between 3x3 racks with 1” holes and 2” hole spacing. The other thing I like about REP racks is the width. I like to have a few extra inches with benching and squatting so plates don’t have a chance to collide with uprights as easily. My welds are clean, powder coat is perfect as well.

Same superb quality as their barbells. I use these with Rogue’s dumbbell bumpers for a few CF WODs, and also for presses where I need heavier weight than my 100 adjustable dumbbells can go. These are just not a good primary dumbbell for interchangeability, not convenient that way. Also pretty bulky and wide, best to get Iron Masters for smaller form factor.
