The Criterion Attachment (Modified Gaspari Arm Bar) is a pretty amazing option to own and an “S Tier” attachment. I’ve had it now a several months and did a search on this sub and no one ever mentioned it. It is the most solid attachment that I own, in the sense of its weight. The rotational handles and central swivel piece are buttery smooth and allow for instant repositioning from pronated forearm curls, into hammer curls, right into supinated bicep curls. This makes supersets an easy instantaneous transition. The cons are the cost (so had to drop value to one star since this is $460 shipped) and I imagine the weight would be a con for some (which doesn’t bother me). It’s like 18 pounds. I’m lucky to have been able to order this and have it in my rotation. I owned the Troy curl bar, which is designed exactly like the SBCB -23 attachment, similar principal but different feel. I’ve had my hands on both. This attachment is definitely a much more premium experience. They will both get the job done in the end though. Sort of similar debate between Rogue’s V Bar attachment and Force6 Fitness Tricep Pushdown. It’s like the Rogue is the Jeep Rubicon and the Force6 is like the Mercedes AMG G Wagon. From the owner on his Facebook page… ”I am making a few bars whenever I get the chance. These bars are Chrome plated with Black Cerakote handles. I only have a few Chrome curl bars and attachment bars. When those bars are gone, I may go back to black oxide on the bars but still Cerakote the handles. I wish the price was lower but this is what it takes with today’s steel prices and my labor to manufacture and build them. I’ve been posting and selling on Instagram to the people who contacted me the earliest and making my way forward. Just making small batches as I have time.” It’s a one man show, doing this on the side out of love for the gym community and to carry on his design. For me, that, and USA made makes it worth it.

Clubs are a fantastic adjunct to training shoulders, forearms and grip strength. They are great for prehab/rehab of shoulders. They are fun and portable as well. Adex is to adjustable clubs as Pepin or Ironmaster is to adjustable dumbbells (meaning top quality, super durable, changing weight like the Ironmasters, and saving space from having to otherwise own many separate weighted clubs in a collection) The Adex clubs are of the highest quality and I prefer the Wildman series for the thicker handle. Getting a set of printed inserts is a must too - which allows you to maintain the length of the club while still placing weight at far end of it - as you keep adding on weight towards the handle. 5 stars all around for these.

This holds you securely, but I had to mod the bar and rollers that engage your ankles. I ordered the larger sized ones and the longer rod that holds them to replace the existing shorter rod and smaller rollers. I also installed a thicker more grippy handle cover for the center handle. While this piece is relatively inexpensive and totally functional from a performance standpoint and 100% worth the purchase, it could be made a little better.

It’s simple, and sturdy. I secured it to the ceiling and after thousands of weight pull-ups it hasn’t budged. There are a multitude of similar options out there that are less expensive, but I can’t speak to those. This for me has been a great add and present essentially from day 1 of my basement gym buildout. I like the diameter of the bar and it’s powder coating, which has held up amazingly well. It holds chalk nicely too.

I use this for a lot of hand to hand dynamic exchange movements with the landmine. It’s inexpensive and has a nice girth and I wouldn’t want anything knurled for that type of work. The large globe end makes me feel secure when I’m going from hand to hand that the handle won’t slip through my grip. I also have JD Gym Equipped handle for Meadows Rows and other single arm pulls.

A definite must if you own the bench versions that this didn’t come with this pad. The padding is way better and more comfortable. The grippy vinyl is so much better as well. It’s an easy swap. I use my old bench pad now to make floor presses more comfortable and I sit on it for low rows on the floor while using my functional trainer.

This bar has held up quite nicely considering it gets its rounds every two weeks into my routine. So it gets high marks for build quality. I use it for BP and OHP and it has really trained all my accessory muscles to fire up during those movements. I applied some skateboard grip tape on bar (neatly as if it came from Bandbell) because I found if I was perspiring more the grip is a little slippery, or at least I perceived it to be, so it gets a stat taken off for performance. The grip tape makes me feel more secure. I only use it with KBs and bands, but the weight holders look to be a nice option to own. It really shouldn’t cost what it does and that’s where it gets dinged for value.

Inexpensive, solid, feel great in palm. Nicely rotating. I would order the SS ball version, by just emailing the seller. I never got charged any more for the SS version. These are fantastic for cable crossover work instead of just grabbing onto cable ball ends. These work for other exercises as well (similar to hammer handles)
