I don’t know why I put off putting one of these together, especially with my elbow tendon issues. I use mine all the time, and so does my son. The screw top lid is an S tier addition. Also makes a decent seat.

The PR-1100 version does not bolt in, rather it attaches like a J cup. I keep my 45s on the rack on these horns. The end caps have long since fallen off, but that doesn’t bother me. Other than that, they are convenient and well built.

I have no complaints. It’s inexpensive and mine has taken years of abuse with no problems. I think most slam balls are exactly the same.

I love my cardio equipment to be Pueblo Gold. This thing is a beast and is awesome for sprints. I fitted mine with a monitor from Assault Fitness, which is a nice, fairly inexpensive upgrade. Newer bikes feel more solid and are generally quieter, but for the price this thing is great. This bike makes you just as tired as the new ones.

I am a big fan, but with a very specific caveat. Any police department gym should have one. The issues with duty belts and shift work are genuinely helped by RH. This works well in a huge space, but is way too big for most home gyms.

I have no idea why the TRX is so well regarded. I bought this setup prior to a deployment and I used it almost every day. It was needlessly complicated. There is nothing that the TRX does that a set of rings with a Thule strap doesn’t do better. The loops aren’t Independant, so you have to do a silly weaving dance to use one side without the other. The only positive IMO is that they hold their value and sell at a decent price. If you are going to a remote place, be it military or otherwise, buy RINGS and a Thule strap, not this nonsense.

I had such high hopes. The rack attachment is really great. Unfortunately, the pulleys don’t keep the cable on track. There are so many pulleys that can keep the cable on track when not under load, and this just isn’t it. I will still use it to train kids, but I spend so much time adjusting the cable in the pulley that it seems like a waste of time.

My preference is for a sharper knurling, and my favorite bar is a bare steel TPB. This OPB is an excellent bar, but I just don’t like the muted knurling. The non-cerakoted OPB has a more defined texture, not sharp, but super grippy. The cerakote just dulls that IMO. I think this is a personal preference, just not my cup or tea. The build quality is excellent, and the cerakote takes a serious beating. It will wear off the j cups, but that doesn’t bother me
