This is another OG piece I’ve been able to snag. Pretty remarkable strength curve, really opens up the hip. I picked this up because I’ve recently had a very difficult time with arthritis in both hips and the hope is that the stretching and strengthening of ball-and-socket synovial joints will put me in a space where I am feeling less pain. That’s been the case with other areas of my body that are riddled with arthritis. The machine itself is a masterpiece of American ingenuity. I love how easy it is to move the bottom platform as well as the cam for the pad. It looks brand new so someone did a great job on this. Bought it from Fitness Equipment Empire and they were great to work with - took about 10 weeks from time of purchase to delivery.

Not a good deal. For starters, the cheap smaller carabiners are like $0.50 a piece. Then the shackle swivels are not the kind that clip open and closed, which is downright primitive, especially considering the cost of this set. Don't get swindled by Prime on this one. Buy the pieces separately from Amazon. It's just not worth it.

Well, it doesn’t look like they make these anymore, because Vulcan just sucks, but if you can find these, and don’t mind that they’re in kilos, they’re hands down the best bumpers out there.

This is actually a great value for a bar holder that has 8 spots on it. But wouldn’t recommend buying anything from those jerks.

I've got a ton of these little things all over my FT - they hold my MAG attachments as well as lightweight d handles for the FT, grippers, and various carabiners. I'm not a huge fan of the strength of the magnets, like, they're too strong to easily pull off the metal of the FT, but then again, they slide around with the attachments when I take them on or off. The other problem is the hooks like to turn so that they're not always positioned the right way. Overall, they're a good cheap solution for storing things, though I did have to put magnets on the other side of the metal so that they adhere better to the FT without sliding around so much.

Eh, this is such a middling thing, for such a meaningless exercise. Quality is goodish but you have to pay a little for it, or you’re wasting money. There’s so much more activation from standing calf raises - or from squats, honestly. I’m sure bodybuilders get more out of this machine. But I can do a hundred reps and not get sore or even a pump. Why I ended up with this is a very good question. It’s not for me and it won’t live in my garage for long.

Middle of the road, and they do claim it to be residential, so not much to complain about. And 3 stars is average so… biggest issue with this is that a regular sized curl bar (I have a Rogue one) does not fit in this. How can you make a preacher curl bench that can’t accommodate a common curl bar? No idea. The vinyl and the padding aren’t the greatest, but again, it’s “residential.” But you can get a bench from Rep for a lot less money with a lot more pad and better pad. Might be I’m just griping now. I’ll get rid of it at some point and get one of those old Hoist style ones, which cost about the same and make more damned sense.

Yeah, so I’ve got a recumbent bike sitting in my dining room. Wanna make something of it? We have our Peloton upstairs in our master bedroom. And this should got there too. But it’s too heavy for me to carry myself and no one wants to help. So we sit there looking out the dining room window slow biking. We got this used from a local reseller who got it off a local gym. It even has a “wipe your slimy Covid off this after use” thing on the screen when it starts up. A bike like this is great for my shitty old knees when I need some steady state and I can’t handle the Peloton, or for some warm up before squats when it’s chilly in the garage. Value is there if you can snag one for under $500. And I see them all over now. Will last a very long time.
