At the current price of $392, this is not a good buy. The product, in contrast to the other kit I’ve got from Golden Grip, is not very well made. There are welds that are iffy, and the cheap rubber applied onto to pad is blech. It’s also not as smooth as you’d want. So no bearings, but I guess you shouldn’t expect that for $400. Or works fine, and I picked up a S&D version, and on sale too, so it was $205. Now that’s a good price for this. The bands are solid and help the movement. And I really wanted a piece like this for grip training. Definitely a buy, but at the right price.

I don't personally use this, it's for mah wiiiiife, and she uses it for back squats, no complaints, feels good on her shoulders. I wish there was more to say, but it was $20, got it seven years ago, looks brand new, does what is intended.

These were made before my parents, most likely, so the cool factor is off the charts. The story of bells is probably more valuable than the function of the things, and they’re not very practical. They are the ultimate in frustration if you’re trying to change weight because they need an Allen key to change weight. And, they’re not very useful topping out at 15lbs a piece. But for all that, they have a permanent place in my space, until they need to be passed along to the next person who’ll care for them.

Came with my Squatmax MD and I’m really happy with it. I’ve used the Spud Inc and currently own the Rogue version as well, but the Henny is the one I prefer. It has the right mix of firmness and comfort. My family prefers this one to the Rogue as well. So don’t just take my word for it.

I’ve got a 660 lb scale that I bought from Amazon, but it’s blue, and it’s another company. It’s really a horse a piece, you know? I’ll keep this review here until Modern Step gets the props it deserves. Works fine and helps you capture felt weight. Because that’s what matters.

E coat, as applied by Rogue, on barbells, is nasty. Slippery, slimy, greasy, not the good greasy either. Good thing I was able to sell quickly during Covid. You could do worse, but you can do a hell of a lot better.

It’s a great machine but I sold it and didn’t look back. It’s my fault. I’m utter shit at rowing and always have issues with my back afterwards. But high resale value, easy to store, incredibly stable.

Middle of the road and definitely superior to the shitty “knurled” handle they sell for less than this. Not a huge fan of the convex handle, or the rubber, but gets the job done.
