I recently picked up one of these bikes brand new, and it’s hands down the best recumbent bike I’ve used. What really sets this bike apart is the backrest design. The adjustable seat-back angle alone makes a big difference compared to other recumbents I’ve tried. On top of that, the backrest is made from a durable mesh material with sewn-in adjustment straps that let you fine-tune the firmness. You can even use the straps to add your own DIY lumbar support if needed, which is a great touch. The bottom seat is also extremely comfortable—thick, supportive foam and generously sized. There’s an oversized, swiveling tablet holder positioned above the display, making it easy to use an iPad or tablet during workouts. Another big advantage is that the electronics are battery powered, so you can place the bike anywhere without worrying about running a cord or being near an outlet. I purchased mine from a local distributor for $1,700, which was about $600 less than the listed price on Spirit’s website. At that price point, this bike is an outstanding value.

Ridiculously large, more of a hip press than a leg press. The value is not there unless you like to collect rare pieces and even then there are much more functional and better designed rare pieces of equipment that would be much higher on my list than this (like a Paramount Total Leg or old school Icarian or Flex Standing Hamstring, or for a real leg press get an OG Nebula, might cost a little less and you’ll actually use it). Cool to try out and see in-person if you have the opportunity Do you want to climb up and down a tower for leg day? 😂

This thing is built great. My first piece from Bolt. Shipping was awesome, crated well. Fully assmebled but very quick to take apart, move downstairs and reassemble. That’s a big plus for me. For my first session in on it and overall I love it. The reason I gave 4 starts for performance is that I wish there was one more hole for adjustment of the hip pads to get a tiny bit lower, but I also don’t know if I could keep hold on the handles at the point so it’s really like 4.5 stars. Figuring out how to properly get tension and stretch on the glutes, hams and hips took a few sets. It’s a bit different than lying hip thrusts with a bar or machine. In this one, you’re holding onto support bars, and just like a belt squat, you won’t feel it in the right areas if you’re not minimizing your arms pulling and instead keeping them as simply support levers. Once I got that and played around with foot placement and how to sit back in different ways it was game on. Serious burn in the glutes hams, and then when they do get fatigued you can go high intensity and force out more by cheating a little now with your arms. This thing is awesome, more compact than I expected by a lot even though I measured for it. It looks good. It has band pegs and weight horns. With this and my Matrix Magnum Glute Drive I don’t know if I could pick one over the other. Similar but fairly different movements. I love it. I’ll update this review later if I have updates after getting more time on it. Also, Bolt is a really customer service oriented company. I know one gym owner who is using them to outfit his expansion and they’ve really taken care of him. They took great care of me, very responsive and got my order in fast. They do have a bit of a lead time about 4-8 weeks but they’re really great so far. As good of service as I got with Temple of Gainz and if you’ve bought from them you know they are incredible at service!

This is my favorite selectorized seated leg press. Adjustable back pad incline and adjustable footplate distance make it easy to find the position you’re looking for. Big footplate for different foot positions. Very easy on the knees. 500lb stack so you can go plenty heavy. You can find these used for around 1k and they’re pretty easy to move once you take the stack off. Fairly compact for such an impressive leg press as well. I love mine and highly recommend it.

Functionally this is a great reverse hyper. I use it at a local gym when I’m there training and it’s great. The price for Rogue isn’t that bad either, but for the price of the machine plus shipping and tax it doesn’t perform any better than a used Titan. If I wanted e reverse hyper again and could find this used I’d get it over the Titan but if not…

One of my favorite pec/rear Delt machines. Hoist makes awesome equipment and this one is right up there. Heavy stack, swivel handles, plenty of adjustability, there a re lot of really great Pec/Rear Delt machines out there but this one is really in a category by itself. The swivel handles are definitely the standout feature. Get your hands and arms angled as far up or down as you want to target any area of the pec, shoulders, rear delts or upper back. Not an easy piece to find but not extremely rare, if you see one for sale get it. You won’t be disappointed.

I have the OG version of this. This is one of my favorite back machines. Vertical and horizontal grips, the handles themselves are fixed but the arm they’re on swings up and down so you can adjust the seat and get the arms in a great position to hit either the upper back or the lats. Very smooth machine and just feels so dang good. The OG version in great condition will cost a pretty penny but you can find the newer Precor versions for sale sometimes for really great prices. This is one of my favorite pieces for function and form as well as just nostalgia and cool factor.

Flite is awesome! They were bought out by Icarian which was then bought out by Precor. This leverage style, plate loaded prone leg curl is my favorite leg ever! It is very smooth, very comfortable annd easy on my old powerlifter knees, awesome resistance profile and built like a tank. Pairs excellently with the Flite Leg Extension. They are somewhat rare but can still be found popping up for sale sometimes. Usually pretty expensive (ballpark around 2k, maybe a little less or a lot more depending on condition) and well worth it. I love my Hoist HD2400 Combo leg extension/curl but if that was in a house on fire with my Flite Leg extension and Leg Curl I wouldn’t think twice to save my Flites first. If you can get this piece and have room for it get it and enjoy the heck out of it! I love these pieces a lot more than the Strive/Prime plate loaded pieces as well. I know those are popular but these are simpler and just feel much better to me as well as being slightly more resilient as a lot of the Strive plate loaded pieces I’ve used tend to have the issue of one side of the shin/leg pads being slightly off. Not so with these, they are perfect.
