It’s a good value for the price, $300 CAD shipped. The knurling is the exact same as the knurling on the BOS power bars. I was expecting something a little sharper for a deadlift bar but everything still works fine. The sleeves are ribbed, some people like that some people don’t. I personally have no opinion on that. I’ve had it for a week and other people have also tried it and enjoyed it. It’s bare steel so it will require some maintenance to keep the rusties away. One month update: I don’t like the ribbed sleeves. It’s real annoying to pull all the plates off at the end of the day, it would be nicer if they slid off smoothly

The hardest part of having a strongman keg is finding the keg. Maybe you go to a keg party and offer them the deposit, maybe you go behind a bar on empties day. Once you have the keg, removing the valve is best done after all the pressure has been released with a flat head. Rinse it out and let it dry for a few days. An upside down 2L pop bottle makes filling it much easier. Use a 2” PVC end cap to keep everything inside.

They lock onto any size bar, be it Olympic or axle. They even fit my random sized CDB. They’re strong enough to hold plates at the very edge of a bar to simulate a monster bar deadlift. Most of the collar is off the barbell in the picture. Less than 1.5” of the collar is doing all the work

Great for rehab and the laziest way to add a few lbs to a plate loaded lat pool down.

They work nice for side to side warmups and clam shells. They also help for cuing to keep your knees from caving in while squatting, just have to keep the band from falling down.
