I always personally preferred a V bar that could rotate to help keep my wrists inline with my forearms through the movement. Only time I would not do that is on lean forward press down (Jay Cutler style) and I can still do that with this.

Only change I would like to see is a double Velcro strap. That is the best version of a strap I have used where it allowed it to still be used as Velcro got old.

I was highly disappointed when I bought this about 12 years ago. At that time, priced at over $100 I was expecting a solid bar, not a hollowed out POC that the end caps try to pop off every time you gently set it down. Only plus is that it is light enough for my beginner clients, but would have rather paid $20 for this originally.

Rating based on what I was expecting....and it was as good as Coop said it would be while dragging it behind his truck. Its a workhorse that I use daily and easy to move just by literally tossing it to the side and not having to worry about breaking my $45 bench (at time I purchased it 7 years ago). Like a Timex, takes a lickin and keeps on tickin.

Just have the 12 lb one, coating keeps it looking as new as possible even though I have had it for years.
