The open trap bar has so many things that you can use it for beyond deadlifts. (Press, bench, squat, zercher,& even yoke walks). Built in Jackie a very nice tough.
This was my very first rack in 2012. I bought some square tubing and went to a buddies place to weld it together. Had to rig up some j cups. It definitely was cheap (<$100). At the time it was my best option and would not trade that experience.
This is a significant upgrade from trying to wiggle up on a bench to do hip thrusts. It attaches to the bar easily and is easily removed. My only complaint is that is does slide on the bar. I was hoping it would not slide around on my back.
These sandbags are very durable and I cannot think of anyone that has broken one. The Velcro seals being inside helps keep the sand in. Use this all the time for training strongman.
Slightly heavier duty than the 2.0. The angle is actually very nice to handle but it is hard to pull them out from out in front of you. Not my strongest position!
