AML-2 Adjustable Monolift 2.0 - Monster Lite

AML-2 Adjustable Monolift 2.0 - Monster Lite

Compatible with any Monster Lite Series power rack or rig,* the AML-2 Rogue Adjustable Monolift gives athletes a way to comfortably unrack and rerack heavy weight without having to worry about walking the bar out during squats or avoiding J-cups while benching. With Version 2.0, we’ve upgraded the strength of the attachment and re-engineered the center of mass around the handle, removing unnecessary weight and enabling easier, one-hand adjustments. A new stainless steel key can also lock the Monolift’s jaws in place, further simplifying adjustments and allowing the hooks to be utilized as traditional J-cups.

For someone that has never used a monolift before I was always curious. Not having to walk out a squat or put extra stress on shoulders when unracking for bench is a huge plus. It takes a little bit to get used to but they are fantastic. The build quality is top notch as expected from Rogue.

Not a true replacement for a monolift . Although it's better then walking out your squat if you compete with a mono, keep in mind the ROM on the arms isn't much so If you shift forward much at all you will hit the hooks on the way back up

I absolutely love having these and use them for both bench and squat. I ended up getting two pairs because there is a screw that prohibits the swinging arm of the mono to go too far forward, which is fine for bench, but limits how far back you can stand to un-rack a squat. The screw was too annoying to have to put on and off every time you’d change do exercises. This solves the problem. I just remove the bottom mono to squat.

I have two sets of monolift attachments for my rack. They are both first generation monolift. The first set I got is a bolt on model and they are great, and I use these for bench. They were so awesome I grabbed another set I could move around easier and use those for squats. Both really help save energy when unracking heavy squats or bench. Highly recommend.

This monolift system by Rogue has been a game-changer for my bench setup. I prefer to use it on the bench, so I don't need a lift off. I actually have the first model, but couldn't find it listed in equipment.

I’m 5,7 and squat low bar and these work for me on that. They also obviously work extremely well for bench press. They look cool. They are heavier than I expected, but much lighter than the older style of mono attachments from what I hear. I have the monster light version, and the area where the pin goes through the holes extends higher up on the attachment. I can’t get them high enough on the rack for shoulder press, but that’s ok. Mine showed up with a big scratch on one of the monos, but rogue offered to replace it or refund me $75. I took the cash. I love em

Built to last as is Rogue norm. The functionality is solid, but means way more on your pick than your rack. Said different, if you are equipped squatter they are serviceable but the big lean to rerack pretty well sucks. Better than walking out, but nowhere near like having a mono. In a space or cash constrained option - they will more than get you through.

I have tried a few different mono attachments and these are the first ones that mostly work. What I mean by that is that monos have the connotation to be used for squats. Other monos are absolutely useless for squats in my opinion unless you squat high bar and are going almost perfectly up and down in your stance. These are more serviceable for low bar squats, but not perfect. For that reason I don’t use them for squats and just use them for press. Now press is where these excel. Other monos work okay for press, but these work great. I have never had an issue with clipping the lip on these. They do help with a hand off style press, but I find that they are best for incline press. You can truly press up and back without any thought that you may hit the cup lip. I have not gotten to use the mutant metals monos, but I do hear that they figured this problem out a long time ago so those may be a better pick. I have not used them so I can’t say. I like how those look more and like the company more is all I can say. Back to this product though, I truly think these are a must have for being able to focus on your incline press. That is the most common barbell type press I have been doing since I train for strongman.
