Strap Safeties
Upgrade from standard Pin-Pipe and Flip-Down Safeties with REP’s Strap Safeties. These reinforced nylon straps are much gentler on your barbell than metal, but they’re just as tough. Heavy-duty bolts secure the straps to the bracket. Strap Safeties are also quiet; they’re virtually noiseless when they contact the barbell. They are also uniquely adjustable, as the front and back ends can be mounted at different heights.

Facebook marketplace $20 for the pair. No complaints has a lot of life in them

The REP strap safeties are well made, solid, and feel secure. Unfortunately, I cannot use them anymore with the Smith Machine installed, but that is more about my rack setup than the safeties themselves. I am looking forward to REP releasing additional safety options that work better with the Smith setup.

Fit and finish are solid, and they paired up perfectly with my REP PR5000 without any issues. Simple, well-made, and do exactly what you want from strap safeties.

The one I got with my PR-4000 was too long and it ended up drooping quite a bit. Got rid of it and went with the Rogue ML version. Much better than the Rep in use and fits perfectly on the metric rack.

I definitely like the way these attach to the rack much better than Rogue's system for cloth safeties like this. These make for nice and quick adjustments, rather than have to move both simultaneously like rogue's system

Opted for the safety straps when purchasing my PR-5000. Very solid build. Easy to reposition as needed. Works as advertised.

These are great. They hold a lot of weight, and have definitely caught some failed lifts. I used them almost exclusively, and they are a great piece as they have a little bit of give when hitting. I do wish the connected a little differently, either flipping the connector so that they both went in at the front or by being like Dialed Motion's so that you don't have to worry about the Ares trolley placement.

I loved these straps when I had my Rep Rack which I recently sold. Great for getting into position for rack pulls, partial presses, etc. I found it much better than the flip down safeties for that and much lighter than flip downs as well.
