TB-2 Trap Bar

TB-2 Trap Bar

With the TB-2, we've completely overhauled the original Rogue Trap Bar with a more versatile dual-handle design, SCH 80 pipe Olympic sleeves, and a 25% reduction in weight. The TB-2 Trap Bar is manufactured in the USA and features a durable hexagonal frame welded from 1.5” square steel tubing. Both sets of knurled, parallel handles measure 1.34” in diameter and are spaced 25” on center. During a workout, an athlete can easily switch from one set of handles to the other simply by flipping the bar over. This makes the TB-2 advantageous for strengthening the lockout, overloading on shrugs, and/or limiting shoulder stress during bench presses. It also enables beginners or rehabbing athletes to focus on their range of motion or gradually develop a deadlift program without putting as much pressure on the lower back.

This bar is built well but its really huge. I don't mind using it but I would not recommend buying, instead I'd get a open bar that has a kickstand.

Better balanced than the TB-1 rogue trap bar, but expensive for what it is. It’s a good trap bar, but at its new price, people should probably just get an open trap bar. Only worth it if you find one used for cheap The coating of the bar also chips off fairly easily

Bought this new as a reward when I ran out of room for plates on my cheap Cap (or maybe Titan?) Hex Bar. Seemed like the best option at the time. Open trap bars were still a rare, expensive thing back then. Stepping out of this thing after a heavy max pull with wagon wheels probably isn't the safest thing in the world ... hahaha But generally speaking, this is a well built bar that will keep doing it's job for many years to come.

Since eclipsed in utility by the proliferation of open trap bars, if I was starting over, I would not buy it again. But it's still robust and useful as hell. I use it weekly for deadlifts and power shrugs.

Mainly picked this up to train on hex bars since that’s what the Army fitness test uses. I got it on marketplace for $300 so a fair amount saved over new, but I’ve only used it once. It just takes up space and boy, what a lot of space it takes. In my Rogue 9 bar holder it eats up several spaces. A bit of a pain to move around and get set up but it’s a sturdy unit.

One of the better trap bars on the market for the price but ours is slightly bent after our pro strongman lifted 1100lb on it . Probably over the weight limit anyway lol

This is a great trap bar. The built quality is awesome, and it is super strong. Also, good knurling. Like most stuff the price is high, but I am not sure that amtters if you get a good piece of equipment.

It’s fine. Well built. Not a fan of trap bars but for what it is this one is solid.

This is a good simple trap bar that doesn't have any flex to it when going heavy. Not the flashiest by any means but it works well
