My wife wanted something to use for step up exercises and I got some good use out of this after my last knee surgery, but it's too light weight to use for serious weight. I sometimes wondered if it was going to sustain my body weight plus some lighter dumbbells. It does what it claims to do, maybe? I'm not sure I trust the 350lb rating or the claim of 500lbs with risers. Nah, bruh, I'm good.

I used to have a plyo box, but at even its smallest side, 18", I would just hit my head on the ceiling when I stood on it. That was a buying mistake. Now I have this step, it works fine for my needs. It adjusts low, and my knees are dust so I'm never doing heavy plyometrics. They say not to put more than three risers per side under the box. I use 4 per side regularly and it feels stable enough (and is probably 16"), but I probably just voided a warranty or something by admitting that. Bear in mind that this is always going to be a lot shorter than a plyo box, especially if you follow safety instructions. I use them for a handful of things: Elevated pushups, step up and down, primarily. They get the job done. Also my three year old does "leg day" with me, which entails jumping off this step over and over again. Would i step on them carrying something really heavy, or go slamming onto them with my full weight? Absolutely not, but I still get some use from them.

I like these for deficit DL, but not much more. Pretty thick plastic but still a bit unstable and sketch for my liking.

Not strong enough to have any practical use at our gym. I would just be worried someone would get hurt trying to box squat with them

Our go to step training before we purchased a couple of plyo boxes. Quality is ok, though it’s not really built for heavy weight usage.

When your wife is a fitness instructor, things sometimes just show up that support her classes. I wouldn’t trust my life to this thing, but for cardio or plyo applications that aren’t a heavy landing, I haven’t seen anything to run away from. I wouldn’t trust NOT trust with dynamic exercises or much of anything “weighted”.

Purchased during the pandy for elevated squats and lunges, it worked fine for those exercises. Tried it for calf raises with a barbell and it’s not longer with us. It’s good for that it does, just don’t expected it to support anything more than body weight.

These are ok but I find they don’t hold up for my use case (heavier weight).
