An awesome piece where I always felt like I got a great lat stretch at the top. Hammer strength's back machines are always very hard to beat

It's a great bench don't get me wrong, but unless it's made of gold there's absolutely no reason it should cost over $800 new

This bar is very special to me, as it was the first bar I ever bought myself, and I pulled my first 700lbs on it. I used to throw it in my car and lug it around to gyms with me. Its definitely super comparable to an Ohio Deadlift bar. I desribe the whip more as "springy" vs a Texas DL bar where it feels "floopy"

Rogue's racks are just hard to beat. I really like how all posts on the rack have holes to mount things on, and most accessories companies make are either made to fit or so so happen to fit on Rogue's racks. I have a different brand 3x3 rack and have stuff made for Rogue not fit it

I think Rogue can do much better here. The Thompson fat pad is illegal in every powerlifting federation. People want to train on what they compete in and what the standard is. Therefore this bench was always open and available at my old gym no matter how busy it was. With Rogue's manufacturing being as good as it is, I really think they could make one of the best combo racks if they wanted to

Being harsh on this bar because I can't for the life of me figure out why they wouldn't put knurling on it. Almost most powerlifters I see have to put athletic tape on this bar so it doesn't slide off of your back. The bar is designed to rotate as you squat, which naturally is gonna make it want to slide on your shoulders. To get it to stay in place you are forced to put it in a high bar position. It's also probably the heaviest cambered bar out these so it can be a pain to move around

More of a commercial gym piece than a home gym one. Its great for doing pin presses and reverse band benches. I like setting it up with doubled light bands, instead of having to attach bands super high up in a power rack. You can really fine tune setting the bar at your sticking point because of how close together the holes are

10/10 phone, drink, whatever holder. Its great for some lower back work, but as someone with some pretty chronic back issues this was never the magic fix like Louie told us it would be. It can be a good strength builder if you do slow and controlled reps, and a mild decompression if you do higher weights and let it swing.
