Here’s a polished version with better flow while keeping your voice and humor:
There’s not much to say about this bar other than it just works — and honestly, that’s a compliment.
The bar is about 30 mm thick, which I believe is around the same diameter as most standard pull-up bars. I also really like the old-school raw steel feel. It has a certain rawness to it and feels more porous and less slick compared to the powder-coated pull-up bars most companies use. The raw steel also gives it a really cool look. It has a metallic finish without being overly shiny, which fits the overall vibe really well.
As for where it could be better, most standard pull-up bars are a little too thick for me, and this one falls into that same category. It is not so thick that I feel like I can’t get a good pull-up workout, but I also don’t feel like I’m going to hit a pull-up PR on it either. That said, if you have larger hands, or just don’t have baby hands like me, it will probably work great for you, and you may not even notice the thickness. Personally, I would have liked the bar to be slightly thinner in diameter.
The second thing I would love to see is knurling. Adding knurling to this bar would take it from a great product to GOAT status. I’m sure that would add to the cost, but honestly, I think it would be totally worth it, and I’d be happy to pay more for that upgrade.
