I got this for $60 and really can't complain about anything for that price. It has actual reference markings on it, and is a regular ol' short axle bar. Rackable, and you could probably load it to 495 at least with standard iron 45s. Even at the full $120ish price tag I don't know that I'd expect much else.

The hype is all true. Smooth, and easy to grip. That's why they're the go-to plate of the Massenomics gym.

This is the only 10' bar I've ever curled my greasy little fingies around. I love my 29mm TPB and my deadlift bar. The fit and finish with respect to price is really good IMO, and this big ol' boy is very similar in that regard***. Like Jake, I find that the knurling is the same style as my power bar. Now good luck finding a place to store it. 😂 ***If you don't have to account for shipping, or can mitigate up those costs with a couple other people who would also like to go in on their own bar. It's not TPB's fault, but the freight costs are significant to say the least.

I took advantage of the opportunity to lift on this bad boy in WNESD. I promise I was careful <3 It's a TPB, but a lot of the things like knurling, slop and machining on the sleeves seemed to be a little nicer than my regular 29mm. The sleeve OD seemed a little tighter**. A lot like the Hansu, the price is really attractive for a comp-spec power bar while being made in Irving, TX. Finally a competition bar for cowpokes.

I did exactly as Keith suggested on his review, and I couldn't recommend this enough. This is perfect for anyone that shouldn't start with a 135 lb bar right off the bad. Cost me a total of about $25. I primed and painted mine for no good reason.

With calibrated plates, most of what you're paying for is precision. HOWEVER, there are levels to these things, and the eleiko plates are definitely the nicest calibrated plates I've ever had the pleasure of using. They cost a lot. They have the same downsides as other calibrated plates. They're not in my price range, but you can always afford to appreciate beautiful things.

I feel like there are cheaper ways to train this movement pattern.

I dont know what it is about this knurling, but it's very grippy without being aggressive. Excellent choice for all around lifting. Appreciate the center knurling on a general purpose barbell. My only criticism is that TPB also make the similar All American bar that costs a bit less and is usually included in discount offers.
