Weight is weight. I love nice plates, but if you have a standard sized dumbbell or loading pin these things are ubiquitous and useful. I've since gotten rid of all my cap standard plates, but they certainly served me well.

These are great machines, probably why they're so common in a lot of commercial gyms. Probably overkill for a home gym with how beefy these are.

I stole a small tupperware container and stuck a block of chalk in it, and now I'm like one of those HGTV renovation guys from the 2000s.

I currently have a different brand curl bar, but like pretty much every other person here, I've also had one of these chrome hex bolt fellas. They'll do the job just fine and they'll outlive all of us.

It's like a TPB with slightly muted knurling and maybe slightly better fitment of the sleeves to the shaft. Huge used market for them, but also MSRP is very reasonable if you like new. This goes on the list of basically two barbells id recommend to basically anyone.

These aren't bad, but they're really inconvenient if you want to change where the bands go. I'd probably just choose band pegs next time. No real complaints though.

These are great. I use them to store my one pair of bumpers that just doesn't quite fit on my other plate storage tree. In my opinion another instance of it being OK to cheap out.

Like a lot of people (I bet), I got this as a teenage birthday gift. I have a ton of favorable memories with it, but I think you can do a lot better, even at the admittedly low price point. It's very cheap construction with thin-walled steel tubing. The height adjustments are pretty big, and everything just feels pretty flimsy. The bench itself has a lot of movement, and you just feel like you're doing something dangerous when you unrack 200 lbs.
