They're big rubber bands. They suit me fine. Not sure how well they stack up against the more common brands, so I'd play it by ear if I was using bands in another gym.

This is a pretty nice bench with a kind of slippery pad, in my experience. Instantly better with better upholstery or a silicone baking sheet(like in my picture) or something. Typical excellent commercial gym build quality, but this thing really just does the one trick. Doesn't incline or anything else.

This is a copy of tons of other collars that look identical to this one. Lockup is really tight. No magnets or anything like that, just regular collars. Not bad for $20, but I wouldn't seek them out unless you already happen to be making a purchase from living.fit

It's hard to find the EXACT Cap barbell that comes with the 300lb weight set, but I have to believe that this is it, or at least really close. This is something I started my lifting journey on. Mine actually weighed about 40 lb, making the entire weight set's nominal weight off by 5 lbs right off the bat. It was "coated" black, but in actuality it was just slathered in black paint completely filling in the knurling. This made deadlifts very difficult to progress without straps. That's not the biggest concern in the world considering I permanently bent my barbell maybe a couple months into lifting with a low-mid 300s pull. For some people, this thing could work alright. For anyone looking up barbell reviews, this is unacceptable. I permanently bent the bar

Weight is weight. I love nice plates, but if you have a standard sized dumbbell or loading pin these things are ubiquitous and useful. I've since gotten rid of all my cap standard plates, but they certainly served me well.

These are great machines, probably why they're so common in a lot of commercial gyms. Probably overkill for a home gym with how beefy these are.

I stole a small tupperware container and stuck a block of chalk in it, and now I'm like one of those HGTV renovation guys from the 2000s.

I currently have a different brand curl bar, but like pretty much every other person here, I've also had one of these chrome hex bolt fellas. They'll do the job just fine and they'll outlive all of us.
