This is another one of those situations where I couldn't possibly consider spending more money on this particular product. I prefer to lie on the mat (vs my deadlift platform)for some stretches where I need to be flat on the ground.

It's just a thick inflatable ball. My wife uses it for some seated pressing and abdominal work and it seems to hold up to that just fine. Had it for years at this point.

These bars have a 29mm chromed shaft with really pretty passive knurling, thin comp style collars, and powerlifting rings. The shaft is free of knurling where the bar would sit in a rack. I used this for about a year at my employer's campus gym. That gym didn't allow chalk, and these are pretty difficult to keep your hands on without it, so you'll definitely be strapping up. MSRP was about $800, which is pretty steep IMO. They are really nicely made bars, and id definitely pick on up if you find it locally from a gym closeout or something. They're since discontinued, but you can find out more about their specs on archive.org.

I used these for about a year at my local YMCA. They're pretty nice, definitely on the beefier side, but I guess they have to be. Good stuff if you can find them for a sane price.

The smell is truly incredible. If I can figure out a way to cut these things into 4"x4” squares, I'll be a thousandaire.

Maybe you're on the verge of exploding it into hundreds of pointy plastic shards and driving them into your palms. Maybe you have no idea how accurate it is. Still fun to squeeze with the homies.

These things are built like a tank, but they're really annoying for deadlifting.

It's not super heavy-duty. Mine won't see a ton of use, so it doesn't matter, but if you're building a pulley system or something where you'll use the pin a lot, you may want a nicer one.
