I’ve used powerblocks in one form or another for the past 15 years, and have almost zero complaints. The upkeep is minimal, you can change weights in seconds, and they take up almost no space. There’s a very slight rattle at times, but it’s never bothered me. The only thing I don’t like is how you have to remove the handle to take out the 5lb weight pins if you want to go up by anything other than 10lb increments. It only takes a few seconds, but I’m just lazy. I really wish I could get a 2.5lb magnet to stick to the urethane exterior, and solve the problem.

I was using a pretty small basement room with low ceilings, and this was the only quality rack I could find that would fit at the time. I definitely lucked out, because this has turned out to be an amazing rack. Sturdy and secure, but not impossible to move if you need to. I added the HR-2 half rack conversion kit, and put plate storage pegs on the rear uprights, and now it’s an absolute tank for its size. I have zero complaints about it.

I have low ceilings so landmine Viking presses take over for OHP when I’m too lazy to set something up outside of the basement. I really liked the thick axle-bar style grip as well It looks like there have been a few versions of this, and mine is the one with the capped end. The only problem I had was that there were a couple of sharp burrs or defects in either the powder coating or the handle itself. I sanded the big ones down, but it was still a pain (literally) when I first got it. If the inside of the sleeve had some kind of UMHW liner, so that it didn’t scrape the barbell sleeve, it would have been even better.

This is a really well made pad, just like everything I’ve bought from AbMat. I didn’t get the use out of it that I thought I would, but I’m sure that’s more on me than anything else. If you enjoy chest supported rows or like having your head off the back of your bench during DB presses, it’s worth it.

I recently sold this when I was trying to downsize, and almost immediately regretted it. It’s a great piece of equipment, and if you have the wall space to store it folded, it’s worth it. The only cons were that the sleeves are pretty short and limit the number of plates you can use, and it had a tendency to rock a little side to side during heavier sets. If you have the space to store it, and have any lower back issues at all, it’s absolutely worth it. If you don’t have back issues, it’s still a really nice accessory after heavy deadlifts.

This is basically the exact same as Rogue’s Ohio Bar, but with shorter sleeves. It’s impossible to load more than 3 45lb bumper plates per side, but besides that I never had any issues with it. The cerakote finish was top notch and never got any scratches or dings despite how much I abused it.

An absolute tank that can stand up to a lot of abuse. I don’t particularly like the grip pattern, and the inside weight shifts when you move it around, which messed with my shoulders during throws. I eventually replaced it because of those two issues.

Incredibly stable with just a couple of 45s weighing it down, even when the opposite end was loaded really heavy. The only downside is that the sleeve is just bare metal and will scrape up barbell pretty badly if you aren’t careful.
