Made this old girl out of some scrap metal my dad had laying around, don't judge my welds I'm a novice welder. If I were to do it again I'd probably try to fit 8 tubes. Tubes are 9in tall which is great, stability is fine enough to sit in a corner.

Was able to pick up a used 4th gen Texas Power Bar for such a good deal I couldn't afford not to. Knurling on mine is not super aggressive, but still a 5/5 bar. Absolutely love this bad boy.

If you like fixed dumbbells and are just starting out your home gym these are a solid option if you can pick them up on marketplace for cheap. Everybody and their mother has a couple pairs of these sitting in a corner or their basement so they are readily available. Be patient and you can find deals close to .50c per pound.

Man, where to start on this. This was my first rack I have put into the home gym, and boy should I have done more research. Firstly, assembly went as expected; having to look up a video put out only to find missing steps on the video. Ultimately, putting together the largest Lego set may be easier than putting this thing together. My other biggest gripes on this rack is the rear posts have no holes other then the weight horn holes which are on the back which I hate. I have a very limited space in my gym and have to have the back of the rack pretty close to the wall leaving very limited room to grab plates off. I bought the plate loaded pulley option thinking I would eventually upgrade to the selectorize. Now I am thinking why upgrade to the selectorize when I could just upgrade to a better stand alone rack. Pulleys are fine if you are doing any movement straight off the pulley, anything from the side sucks. Overall, avoid this rack. Ignore the massive amount of marketing this company does and do your own research, I for sure wish I did more.

You know what they say, weight is weight. I was fortunate to be gifted a set of Cap weight plates during covid, and they are being used to this day. Over time I have accumulated more Cap weight plates from marketplace whenever I find them in the wild. I would not recommend buying these new, find them on marketplace or wherever you search for used equipment. If you are the type of person that has to know exactly how much a plate weighs then I would not recommend these plates. Weight is weight, and weight is meant to be lifted.

I will start by saying I rescued my Ohio Power Bar from a local Crossfit gym for a whopping $75, so I cannot attest to value; that being said I absolutely love this bar. When I was looking to upgrade my barbell I was either looking for an Ohio Power Bar or Texas Power Bar, and I was able to find an Ohio Power Bar first. I have used both in the past and will say they are 1a and 1b. The knurling on the Ohio Power Bar is phenomenal, not too sharp not too subtle. As for the build, it's solid, it feels great in your hands benching, it feels great in your hands deadlifting, it feels great on your back when squatting, it is absolutely perfect. If you are looking to get strong, this is the bar that will get you strong.
