I’ve heard a lot of people knock this weight the for its design because it’s apparently based on Rogue’s original plate tree. And they say it’ll shake a little when it gets loaded up with a lot of plates. I haven’t experienced that. It holds weight, it’s stable, it was easy to assemble and it was affordable. This is the type of un-sexy equipment that you don’t want to spend a lot of money on, but shouldn’t skimp on - you want something sturdy and safe. This sacrifices the clean, polished build quality to deliver a good product at a decent price.

I buy mine from a local landscape supply/ bulk materials yard. You can buy them cheap or even find them for free depending on where you live, so, you can’t beat the value. And whether you train strongman or not, there’s something meditative about lifting natural stones. It’s also just straight up fun!

It’s a little expensive for what it is. However, I think it’s a good piece for some. In my old gym setup it worked better because I had more space so I could extend the lever and place the weight horn so it was close to the end, but not obstructing my legs. Plus, I’d stand on cinder blocks to be able to get a deep squat. And then I only used it for hypertrophy so less weight was ok (but even then it was maxed out with 45s). Now, I have less space and it’s just not realistic for me use it for accessory work during strength phases. I think this product is ideal for those who have space and primarily want to do hypertrophy training. I recommended it to my mom when they had a deal that included a free kickstand with the purchase of a mammoth belt squat and she loves it.

These are awesome. They’re affordable and the neodymium magnets in the base keep my bars in place on top of my rack. Great product!

I have the crumb bumpers from Giant, but they no longer sell those. I’ve had my plates for 6 years and they are still in fantastic shape - no damage/warping nor separation of the hub from the rubber.

This is the same belt that I’ve pretty much always used - both in professional training facilities, commercial gyms and my own home gym. There are more comfortable and more adjustable belts out there, and there are cheaper belts out there. However, this is a solid no-frills option.

This is a solid axle bar. I don’t have any complaints. It was affordable, it was delivered quickly and without damage, and performs as well as any other axle.

These are a great value and work well. The pins that keeps the separate parts of the collar together sometimes wiggle loose when they aren’t under tension, but I’ve never had any issues while they are closed and on a bar.
