Along with an EZ Curl bar, I think the Spring Clip Collar Fairy visits every home gym. I wouldn't trust these with my life but for deadlifts to keep the bar from rattling...probably fine?
I like these for when I want to go REAL heavy on a movement. Usually floor press. But usually just stay on the wall waiting to get called back into action.
I think I've owned a dozen or more of various sizes over the years. The hex pattern allows you to use them for some different movements and they don't roll on ya so not a bad choice TBH.
Moves in an out of the rack pretty easily. Probably a little heavy for my wife to move but I have no issues. Very solid. No wobble when it's on the Viper. Has the ability to add a back pad and I use the lat/low row with it.
Came on the Viper and man, they are cool. Lot of positions to move them around in and while the trolly is heavy they are on, it moves very smooth. If you can get them for your set up, probably worth it.
