Compact, affordable, does what it's designed to do. You don't need to spend a ton on storage. Would it be better with 3x3 posts to attach things to. Yes. But it would also be a lot more expensive.

The kickstand is a must for a lever belt squat. I wouldn't have bought one without it. One slight issue is that 20/25kg plates on the vertical weight horn can interfere with the handle, requiring a spacer plate or two. Or moving the weight horn closer to the pivot point, not ideal. Maybe a future version could improve on this.

I have a slipped disk and this enables me to squat without any load on my back. Priceless. The length of the lever is a strong point, I wouldn't want any shorter. And the kickstand is a must. I wouldn't have gotten this without that. Do I prefer normal squats? Yes. But is this a great way to squat without taxing your back. Yes. One day I'll have the space (and cash) to buy a cable belt squat, but until then, for the price and (lack of) space this takes it, it's perfect for a home gym. The belt, is good, but can pinch a bit. Just need to get it in the right position to avoid this.

All I knew was spring collars. Then I saw Lock Jaws. Then I saw these, the original OSO. The look, the colours, the grip! Still using them to this day. I would like to try others, but I've no need to until these die. Alas, I think Rogue has dropped the original set of colours and now only has a different reduced set. Shame.

Like the old school look and the clank of metal. However, the quality is not great. Newer ones seem to have very badly applied paint jobs. And that paint also flakes off very easily. The older plates (19 years) I have are much better and aged just right.

Surprisingly, it looks like these are roughly the same price as the Rogue Echo Bumpers. I can't say which are better, but I've no complaints. Mine did come with some discolouration, but only cosmetic. The competition bumpers are better quality, but weight is weight, and these are cheaper.

Half the price of Rogue Competition Bumpers. I can't comment on whether the Rogue are better or not. But I've no complaints. The flat lettering on mine has faded etc in some spots. But it looks like these now come with embossed lettering like the Rogue ones. Always liked that look but couldn't justify the cost. Now I can... Prices do vary, so don't buy high!

Normal pull-ups and then even chin-ups started hurting my elbows. Using these allows neutral grip chin-ups. Elbow pain gone. I can still do straight leg/body chin-ups using these on my rack (me short), and it's a stable pull point so good for power/strength. However, I do prefer using rings for this now. Even more freedom of movement, and while I have to bend my knees - not ideal, it just feels better. Non-stable pull point using rings is a pro/con. Try both!
