Again, I think finding a decent knock-off is to your advantage. This is well made, but because it has a Prime label on it, it’s going to be more expensive. It works great with the ROT-8 handles (with swapped carabiners)

I’m a fan of the rotating paddle grip, and is a primary reason why I adapted their pull-up station to my REP rack. Different carabiners are a must because they get a bit hung up when trusting in certain directions, but that was an easy fix. They are pricey, and just like with MAG grips, if you find the right knock-offs then you are likely 99% there. Attached to their landmine piece, they make for comfortable rowing.

Not as smooth as I would have liked, and that’s exactly why I sold it and went for the Rogue TR-2D Tricep Dual Cable. The build on that is leagues above the Dually, but it’s also $100 more. At least the Dually turned me on to the concept of “dynamic cable training, and isometric movements” with a cable attachment.

This piece is very expensive, especially with Kmeter, even the basic package will run several thousand. There are several other things that could be had to train eccentric movements (like a pair of Voltras) that would cost close to the same as a full package kBox pro. It is very difficult to “transfer over” or relate the data obtained to what I have ever been used to. I got the bare bones kBox with only the harness. I used my own attachments, which I would recommend. I wanted a larger platform but the Pro was so much more expensive. One reason perhaps that it was difficult for me to assess the benefits/gains was my unit was absent a kMeter. If you have done flywheel training before and are fond of it this might be a winning piece for you. It’s fairly compact too. I didn’t get into their KPulley either.

This is a pretty incredible piece to round out the Concept2 lineup. It’s compact for what it is. After running through all the programs and recording beginning baseline values, I will see how I progress over time. Part of the success of the C2 lineup has to do with their monitors/data and their widespread worldwide incorporation. There are no competitive metrics available yet for this machine, but undoubtedly they will come. Overall it’s well built, but durability will be something to watch out for as time will tell. I’m currently following the suggested “strength” program they posted online. I converted units into pounds so that so could more easily “wrap my head around” the metrics and judge them better. This machine will gas you out incredibly quickly. That is another thing I love about it. The stronger you push the more difficult things become - total masochism! I added/modded a few things - Strip of soft side of Velcro under foot stirrups do they don’t make any noise smacking into their base when performing chest press. - Silicone 2”x2” soft cap for bench press handle for when doing presses so when pulling back firmly and quickly - allows for softer contact with sternum or Xiphoid process of sternum. Not an issue going close grip press. Some future suggestions and additions I would love to see would be: - some additional handle hooks on back for when additional handle configurations come out. - Neutral grip handles for pushing or pulling - Press bar be maybe 32” wide to coincide exactly with rings on barbell - Foot straps should come with unit - Wider footplate option with a few foot attachment options like slight toes out position. Of note: There is some liftoff on leg press with fast forceful movement, not cresting any instability or hampering force or speed, but just something to note. I might add a weight horn to frame up front but not sure of the thickness of the aluminum frame.

Love this little piece. It’s the perfect height. Makes for easy loading and unloading of the bar, and works flawlessly for racking and unracking for chest supported rows using my Pritchett Pad and Force6 Fitness Viper landmine attachment, or Kleva Atlas.

Great budget option without any real sacrifices other than wider foot plates. It’s priced right and not bulky. It is a solid offering and served me well until I got the Pritchett Pad.

Another purchase on FB marketplace that I wouldn’t pay retail for. I do get an interesting contraction on pulldowns due to the flex and the fat grip, I just don’t think it is as good as my JD Liberty Lat Bar, and even more behind the inverted grip Larry Scott Lat Bar. The specs for this are: Level 5 (7LB Bar) - 150LB to 300LB capacity.
