If you have the Hyper Pro, this is a no brainer. It’s perfectly fine as a leg extension/leg curl but nothing spectacular. If this is your only option, it’s perfectly fine.

The value of this machine depends on how willing you are to incorporate it into your gym routine. Adjusting the Hyper Pro isn’t that difficult but it gets annoying to have to do. It doesn’t do any one thing well but it can do lots of things. If you’re okay with all that and okay with paying the price to get into this ecosystem, this might be a decent choice for you.

This machine is very cheap versus the competition but not without drawbacks. This thing eats plates—prepared to load that entire horn to get a higher felt weight. As it is a budget piece, it has things that you expect— The padding is thin, the leg pad bends over time, etc. The best part of the machine is the ROM, honestly.

Beefy piece of equipment in a smaller than average footprint. The cable pulls are smooth. The low row can kind of be a pain to use depending on what attachment you’re using. It comes with a chain to increase or decrease your ROM depending on what your exercise is. I had no issues with this machine while I owned it.

Good timer and a good price. It has multiple modes and can be customized to do pretty much anything you could need. I’m a big fan of the size since it’s doesn’t take up much space. The battery backup when plugged in has saved me more than a couple times so you don’t have to fix your settings.

Very grippy step that looks good. It is magnetic so it can be flipped up and out of the way. The aggressive grip can scratch your rack like it did mine. If you’re fine with that possibility, then it’s a decent piece.

This is my current go-to belt for belt squatting. It has lots of rings to fit lots of body types. I ended up having to cut some length off so the rings don’t bang into my Voltras on belt squats. Most people will not have to do that—my setup dictates that I should. As for the padding, it is the most comfortable belt I’ve felt and there is no pinching. I can’t imagine needing to get the full size version as this is plenty of width and padding.

The horns attach easily and work like you think they would. The are only useful if you planning on using things other than barbells for your VTS, so the usefulness will vary from person to person. I don’t use them often but other people do.
