Along with my York vintage round heads, these plates just sort of fell into my lap. Again, I'm not a collector but I do understand the history and value of older pieces of equipment build when this used to be a proper country. However, unlike the York round heads, I actually use these plates in my daily rotation. These can take as much of a beating as I impose on my newer plates and in some instances, they out perform my newer, non-vintage plate sets. They are not only great to look at but they're even better to lift with. I'll probably never sell these or trade up for another vintage set. All in all, this is a great set to have if you're a collector, a serious lifter, a combination of the two, or if you like equipment with an interesting back story.

Of course these are nice. Of course they have a well documented history and of course these are collectable and look amazing. However, performance-wise, these fall short. Non-knurled and skinny handles make heavier movements sketchy. You can always chalk up but that's just an extra step to achieving the same goals that a knurled dumbbell can accomplish. My set now just sits on the rack as a show piece since I'll never get rid of them. Yes, they look really cool and they have a great backstory but that's the only thing that these have going for them. When visitors come by to get a lift in, they often gravitate towards them but I steer them to my CAP dumbbell set since those can take an actual beating whereas the York's can't since the heavier ones have more potential to bend if they were to drop them. I'm not much of a vintage collector as these just sort of fell into my lap but knowing the value of these and the history that these have, I'll never get rid of these. Maybe when I'm long and gone and when these get passed down to my kids, they'll get a nice paycheck out of them.

These collars fit tight. I specifically use these collars for my specialty bars. I got them for free so I actually don't know what they retail for. The tension knob counters any slop that some specialty bars have and I have zero complaints about these collars. The only potential improvement that I can see with these collars is for Hampton to make these magnetic but other than that, these collars are great. They do take up a lot of space on the bar though.

Absolutely love these plates. I saw these plates as a stepping stone to hopefully sell and get a better made plate set but for the life of me, I can't justify replacing them. They've held up quite nicely. I've beat these to hell and back and they still perform well. They're pretty accurate to their stated weight.

Yeah, it's not the best but it does get the job done. Because you can't start from the top position, you'll have to finagle some sort of handle to work your way into an actual starting position. I mainly use this as a primer and a finisher and never load this thing super heavy as, in my opinion, it's not meant for that. The good thing about this little guy is that it's small making storage very easy. Also, because there's no protective layer between it and the rack, it will mar up your powder coating a bit. Sure, you can file and shim but it's not even worth doing so. It's a great attachment and mimics an actual belt squat but don't expect an exact experience.

I got these to solve a problem that I already had the answer to. I've had issues with my elbows and I love pull ups. Since these handles encourage a more natural way to pull, I figured, sure, three ships free from Rogue so let's toss these in the cart. Got them unboxed and mounted and started pulling. At first, the handles were awkward. having the thread my middle finger in the middle close to where the straps intersect took some getting used to. But they didn't solve my elbow problem. Sure, they lessened the elbow strain but not enough to say that the problem was solved. All I needed to do was to take it easy. So I tossed these on a landmine attachment thinking that I'll be able to recruit more muscle and hit areas that don't get hit hard. Huge nope. I got the same stimulus without using these. So they just kind of sit off to the side of my rack mounted pull bar looking all orange. They more serve as a reminder that mistakes were made. The only thing that these guys have going for them, in my opinion, is the build quality. Great handles, great straps but these are more gimmick than they are useful.

This is a great all around bar. Sure, it lacks the center knurl but that's a deal breaker with this bar. The knurling is just aggressive enough that it won't slip out of your hands, it takes chalk well, and it's a very aesthetically pleasing bar. Since I got the Texas Power bar, the Rogue Ohio bar has been relegated to my 'beater' bar. I use this bar primarily for rack pulls and land mine work and still, this bar holds up. The build quality is amazing and it's a great beginner bar.

This is my very first bench and it's still around. I don't use this bench for it's intended use anymore since the wood inside it has cracked. The only use that I have for this bench is as a seat or a stepping stool to reach something that's high up. It's a great beginner bench but don't expect to be wowed by this. The pad wore down the first month that I had this bench and the pad has only gotten smoother over time which makes benching not too fun. I got it for under a hundred bucks and spent like five minutes putting it together. Overall, it's great as a beginner bench and if you're looking for something cheap, then Marcy is your guy but keep your expectations low.
