This bar is incredible. The kurling is great for cleans in particular and allows you to have security of the bar in your hand without needing to cake on chalk which can sometimes be the case for some weightlifting bars that have more passive knurling. I prefer the whip on this bar for squatting over my Eleiko because it is a bit more stiff, and it does give more security on max cleans. This bar, however is absolutely AWFUL to do volume work with and I will always use my Eleiko for doubles or singles in the snatch, or if i ever have to do hang work for the clean. I also get frustrated using leather straps with the bar because the grip doesn't allow me to adjust the straps in my hand as easily and there are times that it completely ruins a set cause you're redoing your straps for 30 seconds extra before a big set. I think this is a great bar to have at a good price if you only want one bar. The stainless steel also means it requires almost no maintenance, which isn't the case with my chrome bars. As for me this will remain my squat and max out bar, but wont get as much use as my Eleiko day to day.

I recently picked this piece up from marketplace. At $50 it was an incredible value I couldn't pass up. The unit feels stable despite its weight, HOWEVER that lack of weight does mean it will slide on smooth surfaces while getting on it if you're not careful. I am 6'2 and I don't worry about the unit tipping over, and its great for back extensions, as well as oblique work which was the main reason I wanted a 45 degree hyper. A great find for marketplace, and probably worth buying new if you prefer this over a GHD for low back work.

This bar is an incredible purchase overall. I really love the contour of the two widest grips, and the racking function is great. The one issue I have is that if your frame is wide at all like mine that the angle of the narrow most curve is not deep enough for use for curls because it forces you to be too externally rotated with the forearm. If you want to use this for heavy curls, you will not have a narrow option like on a Gophur or Bells of steel 100% raw bar. Ive contemplated selling mine for this one reason, but I have too much sentimental attachment to the bar getting it for free from rogue for my home gym tour video.

I have had the S-4 Squat stand since may 2020. This was the squat stand that my weightlifting gym, Alee Athletics had and seemed like a great solution for a garage gym. I wanted something that eventually when I lived in an apartment could fit inside of a closet, which was a huge plus over standard squat stand designs. I have personally squatted 211kg out of this rack, and have had a teammate squat 300kg out. The base is heavy and wide enough that it is stable even with heavy loads. Recently I stopped using this as my primary in favor of a wall rack, but when i have friends over i have modified it to use the 3/4 inch hitch pins for the feet rather than the bolts. It functions just the same, but allows me to separate the feet from the post to mount on the wall. I would HIGHLY recommend this solution if saving space is a concern even beyond this minimal footprint. If all you do is squat or overhead press from the rack, and you don't need spotter arms or want attachments, this is perfect for you, like it was for me for so long!

I have had the Rogue Donkey for almost 3 years. Overall this piece is incredible, and and very sturdy. I have loaded over 130kg in plates on the hyper and there is absolutely zero movement from the machine when im doing heavy hypers with momentum. The foot plate is easy to adjust, which is helpful because I use a different setting for sit ups, back extensions, and hypers. I do wish there was somehow the ability to switch the pop pin side, because the side that has the pop pin is towards the wall in my setup. There are very few drawbacks, the first being that there is absolutely nothing to help you get up from doing back extensions. If you went close to failure its hard to crawl your way back up from the bottom of the back extension if you are too tired to use momentum to get back onto your knees. The second frustrating feature is getting plates on and off. The space to get plates in between the weight horn and the frame is small and its easy to scratch your hand or the plates on some of the inward facing bolts. I would not reccomend using plates that do not have a grip because it can be awkward getting pates on and off of the weight horn. I personlly only have competition bumpers so loading it is incredibly annoying which has at times caused me to skip using them. I also wish the weight horn had a bearing because the plates spin in use and it wears like crazy. The weight horn spinning on a bearing would solve that problem instantly. I have also found myself using the collars INSIDE the plates to space them out, then a second set of axle collars to keep the plates from coming off. The Donkey definitely has its flaws, but overall, once its loaded the weight of the unit makes it perfect for the hypers, and the GHD function works fine as long as you get used to how to get out. I might find myself making a modification to add handles soon to solve the GHD dismount issue, probably drilling holes to add the monster lite plate posts along the front upright as handles.
