This thing is an absolute unit. Oversized. Heavy duty. Use it for squats. Use it for box jumps. Get 2 of them and use them for stands to work under your car - it's that heavy duty.

Having this is a fantastic way to feed my gym OCD by making sure I'm always centered. I don't have the spotter platforms for it, but it never gets in the way for squats or other work in the rack.

Add up the widths of these for what you plan to do before you buy. By the time you add collars, you end out of sleeve length VERY quickly. They are only really useful in pretty narrow situations, so make sure you really need them before you make the investment.

I love the functionality, although mine were made poorly so the heads of the screws that hold the UHMW protection pieces in stand proud and have scratched my rack up. I'll fix that but annoyed it scratched up my rack before I caught it.

I'm going against the grain, but I think these are great. They are harder to load, but they store a lot easier than top-loading handles, too. I added storage for these so they sit between the two sides of plates on my plate tree. I have a set of hi-temp bumpers in the garage for outdoor work like this, so totally fine durability-wise. While these may not be the farmers handles you want for your gym, they're excellent at what they are.
