Adjustable Box Squat Box

Adjustable Box Squat Box

The Rogue Box Squat Box has an oversized 24" x 24" heavy duty rubber top, extra large base for stablity and is adjustable from 12" - 18". Use this box for box squats, step ups, Bulgarian squats, box jumps and more. What's the difference in quad (thigh) muscle activation between a wide stance squat and a close stance squat? The answer to this question is after you read why you need a box or a few boxes in your box. In the mean time I got another question for those Oly lifters and CrossFitters out there, where do your feet end up when you are doing snatches and cleans and you are fatigued or even worse the weight is too heavy to keep proper form? They end up wide... Wider than shoulder width correct? I'm a CrossFit® Powerlifting coach and I see this all the time, so don't try to lie about it. Because you end up wide let's train through that position and build up some super strong squat and pulling muscles.

This thing is built like a tank, but do you need a tank? I have used this for several years and moving it around at ~80 pounds is a workout in itself. If you have a dedicated location for box squatting, I recommend it. I recently purchased an Elitefts Squat Box at 6 pounds. and it is more than strong enough to handle any box squats that I will be doing at my home gym. It's not a task to move it out of the way once you are complete.

This is exceptional. Probably too heavy, if I'm being honest, but I also don't want to have something under me fail when I gingerly touch my heinie plus double bodyweight and more on a seat. So I'm glad it's heavy. I did add some wheels to help it move around, but I'm not crazy about the current solution and looking for ways to improve the mobility of this piece since it's a hassle to move around without wheels.

Not many boxes have a weight capacity as high as this one from rogue, and If they do they are far more expensive. Have had it a few years and would recommend for serious lifters

Very solidly built box. I'd be comfortable with someone squatting down to this with any amount of weight. It could structurally hold anything and feel sturdy. Some people say it's too heavy, but I don't think it's too bad. Also, I go to the gym to be strong so I don't really mind heavy things. The adjustment isn't super fast. Easiest to just flip it over. Interesting mine came with the knobs up on the rubber top. But you should be able to pry it off and flip it with no problem.

This thing is an absolute unit. Oversized. Heavy duty. Use it for squats. Use it for box jumps. Get 2 of them and use them for stands to work under your car - it's that heavy duty.

Very nice box squat overall. Big footprint at 2x2 but not too heavy due to design. Comes with a singular tile which is removable, but you'll need it in to have a case to squat to.

This squat box is overbuilt and top-notch quality. I highly recommend this for box squats, and I also purchased an Elite FTS pad to go with it.

The first box squat box that I owned was from Sorinex and this Rogue one is identical in design. The Sorinex however was a pain in the ads to move around and position in my rack. The Rogue, however, with wheels and a handle made for much easier positioning (where I’m not dreading to use it 😂). Since I’m the only one using it it’s set for my height, so I’m not having to fiddle with raising or lowering it - because in order to do so you have to essentially flip it on its back. This thing is heavy duty.

Definitely overbuilt and a real pain to move around the gym, but its better than it breaking under a heavy squat. Wish it was a little quicker and easier to change the heights on it, but I think thats just the nature of it being so heavy duty

Overly built box squat box that is more versatile (also used for step ups, etc.) due to its size and weight. I added the Rogue Indy T-Bar Row Wheel Kit (wheels and handles) and trailer bumpers for upright storage and ease of moving it on an off the lifting platform.
