Overall a great barbell. There are some troubles with it fitting in certain racks of J cups and things can become a game of balance and finesse. But overall it’s hard to complain about anything else. Very versatile and useful bar for both squatting and benching. Maybe deadlifting but I haven’t tried.

Some of my favorite looking plates. Vintage Weights PGH points of that these plates are rare in the fact that the “spokes” (he calls them whiskers) are on every plate all the way down to the 2.5s…which I don’t have…yet. Deep rim, tall hub and crisp lettering.

My first high quality haul. Threw an “ISO vintage plates” ad up on marketplace and had a gentleman reach out to me with a collection of 2.5s-10s and a single first gen 35 and a pair of Yorks. Had the legend AJ accompany me since I was still new to the game and he said “You might be the first person I’ve heard of where an ISO ad actually worked.” Honored.

Absolutely honored to have gotten a pair of these from the great AJ during his historic moving sale. Mine are signed and bored out to 2” by Joe who was last producer of Jackson Plates. Happy to put some (gentle) miles on these bad boys.

Had these bad boys for about 8 years before I even knew they were rare and valuable. They live on the leg press and are the perfect way to get the sets started. Would love to get the 50s to accompany the hundos.

Nice entry level vintage plates. Happy to have a full set. Not mad that they aren’t bullseye but might be open to upgrading once other plates are knocked off the list. Simple and clean tri spoke design with the Canada stamp top it off.

A great tool to keep the shoulder safe (brilliant name) and build the triceps. One of my favorite ways to burn out at the end of a bench session. I believe the red and black are different sizes but it all feels the same in the dark.

Hands down my favorite curl bar I’ve ever used and it doesn’t even come close. Straight bars absolutely destroy my wrists, EZ curl bars are alright but that swivel motion handles just make those reps feel smooth as butter and the pump is unmatched.
