The Body Solid back extension gets the job done. This back extension isn't commercial grade (not that it advertises to be) so I don't feel comfortable doing weight extensions on the machine. I don't like how soft the padding is, or the grippy finish on the vinyl. I wouldn't recommend buying this unit for full price but if you find it used (these tend to come up frequently on marketplaces), its'a decent pick up. Once you have the machine in your gym, you can decide if it's worth the space and pursuing a used commercial grade back extension.

There are cheaper alternatives to the Rogue version of this product but if you can find them on marketplace I wouldn't hesitate to pick them up. I strongly recommend getting the plastic lining to protect the knurl and finish of your barbell. I also recommend the wall mounted style of barbell storage because of the aesthetics. A wall full of barbells is also just cool.

These tiles are heavy duty and alleviate any concerns of floor damage during deadlifts. I move the tiles around my gym and lay them down to make a temporary 2x8 ft deadlift platform. I picked up 4 tiles in the Rogue boneyard section ($55 a piece) which helped with the price/value but these are an expensive way to go for a deadlift platform. I would recommend these at the Rogue boneyard price and definitely on marketplace if you can find them used.

The Keppifitness barbell clips are an easy item to recommend. The clips work really well for compound barbell movements and even work on axle bar/SSB Yoke sleeves. The built in magnets are a nice touch and give the clips a premium feel for not a premium price.

The Pioneer dip belt is as solid as it gets when it comes to a piece of equipment like this. Pioneer has top notch leather products and the dip belt is no different. I went with the treated leather finish on my dip belt but there are a bunch of other finish options including suede. I would recommend this because of the build quality and I believe it's worth the extra $20-30 it costs more than a nylon version.

The Scout Reverse Hyper is a solid piece of equipment that allows you to perform the reverse hyper movement with lighter weight. The narrow frame design makes it tricky to load up more than two 45 lbs plates per side. I've found that using lighter weight and higher reps with a controlled negative works best for me. The fold up and storage feature is a nice idea on for home gyms. The draw back to the fold away design is that you have to be committed to the reverse hyper movement to put up with effort it takes to set it up. If the machine is tucked away in a corner that is difficult to access, the likelihood of the machine sitting in the corner collecting dust is high. I would recommend trying out a reverse hyper movement before spending the money on this piece of equipment.

The Griffin fully stainless steel barbell has been a work horse in my gym for 5+, including keeping the bar outside in Southern California for 6 months. The knurling on the barbell feels great. The knurl is sharp but in a tight pattern so it's good for heavy lifts but not something that is too sharp as a daily driver. The stainless steel on the barbell does collect surface rust (similar to the first version of the REP SS power bar, and its possibly the same bar) but the rust comes right off with 3 in 1 oil with a barbell rescue brush. The smooth sleeves on the bar are a nice feature if the grooved sleeve sound isn't your jam. If you can find a used one, I would recommend scooping it up!
