The stainless steel Rogue DB-15 Loadable Dumbbells are a really well built and a solid piece of equipment to add to a home gym. This type of adjustable dumbbell works as an alternative to dumbbells but I wouldn't say it's a 1 for 1 replacement of traditional dumbbells. I use these handles primarily for rows, lunging movements, and single arm shoulder press. If you can find a used pair of DB-15s the value is better but I'm not sure I would recommend buying brand new.

I was able to pick up a scratch and dent pair of the Titan X-3 Quick Slide Sandwich Roller J-Cups for roughly half off the retail price and they have been a nice addition to my gym. The j-cups feel sturdy but the consistency between the two j-cups is off on the pair that I have. One j-cup has loose fitting part compared to the other j-cup but it's only noticeable when moving the j-cups. The inconsistency and loose plastic parts on one of my j-cups doesn't impact the performance. The sliding feature of the j-cups is ok and thankfully Titan added plastic lining on the j-cups to prevent any scratching on the rack uprights. The roller on the j-cup is solid but I think the composite roller is best suited for a home gym vs any commercial gym where it would see high volume use. I would recommend these j-cups if you can snag a pair in the scratch and dent section.

This is a very solid bench that is going to hold up no matter what you throw at it and I would have no problem recommending it to a fellow home gym enthusiast. I have the adjustable post on my AB-5200 2.0 that allows for a slight decline and I'm really glad I spent the money on the upgrade. The bench is heavy but not to heavy where I have issues moving it around throughout my workouts. While I wish the bench wasn't considered "obsolete" because you can't attach anything like a leg roller or leg extension attachment, I'm very happy with my purchase and don't have any plans to move on from it.

This is a great piece of gym equipment to add to a home gym. The cost of an ab wheel is low and the effectiveness of the exercise is quite good. I've used my ab wheel regularly for over 15 years without any issues. If a more "premium" ab wheel came onto the market, I would consider upgrading but in terms of the wheel breaking down I don't have any concerns. I would strongly suggest pairing the ab wheel with some sort of knee pad unless you're a beast who can do standing ab wheel rollouts for reps.

I've been using Perfect Push-Ups since I was in high school and while they definitely seem like a gimmick, I still come back to them as an upper body workout finisher. The rotating motion does feel different and more "challenging". These are a solid product for rotating push up handles and I haven't had any issues with these despite keeping them outside for 3 years. I would recommend these as a cheaper X-mas gift item to throw on the your list or use a random Amazon gift card to take a flyer on them. If nothing else, these used to be a staple infomercial product back in the early 2000s and who doesn't want to own a piece of history!

This was the first barbell I purchased when building my home gym back in 2020. I was able to purchase a boneyard version of the Rogue Echo bar with a bare steel shaft and bright zinc sleeves for $165 (before tax and shipping). For the boneyard price, I think this bar is hard to beat in terms of a starting all-around bar. The knurling on the shaft is solid for an all-around bar but lifting straps or chalk will be useful for heavy lifts. The sleeve spin on my bar is not consistent on both sides. One sleeve spins really well and it would be fine for entry level olympic weight lifting, but the other sleeve does not spin well and makes lifts like power cleans feel clunky. I would recommend the boneyard version of this bar for someone who is just starting a home gym but wanting to test the waters before spending the money on a nicer bar. I would have a hard time recommending the Echo bar at full retail price and would suggest spending the extra money to buy an Ohio bar or look at alternative imported bar options from other companies.
