These panels do the job, but I've always been frustrated how rickety the attachment hooks feel. No matter how much you try and tune the tabs on the side of each hook, they can easily pull out of the board if you take an attachment off at the wrong angle. Maybe I'm being picky, but it would be nice if there was a product that had a better securing mechanism for the hook into the board.

I like this bar. Gives me a bit of extra room so my feet don't touch the ground on pull-ups, multiple grip options (I especially like the angled wide grip) and the powder coat has a great feel. Not sure if there's anything else I would change.

Built by Rogue and made in the USA, but is it really worth 800 bucks (when you throw in the 8 rubber tiles)? That's a hard call. I bought this used for much less, so my value proposition was different, but it's otherwise a well built, bombproof platform. My only gripe, is that by default the tiles don't sit tightly in the frame, meaning you'll have small gaps between tiles no matter what you do. I solved this problem by buying thin/wide washers from the hardware store then inserting them in between the frame and tiles. This has snugged up the matts perfectly. In short, I love the platform, a great value if you can grab one used, but for 800 bucks you have to *really* want a dedicated platform to make this worth it.

This little bad boy is smooth as silk, with a great feel in the hand. My only beef, and maybe one of these newer boutique V-grips solve for this, is at the very bottom of the movement you can't quite get the last bit of extension in your arms (while preforming tricep pushdowns). That's a minor complaint for an otherwise perfect cable attachment.

I've seen all the fancy adjustable dumbbells, I know I'm suppose to love the Reppin's, or whatever other adjustable dumbbell is the new hotness, but I love the simplicity of Powerblock. I owned IronMasters before these (I sold them at the peak of the pandemic when dumbbells were scarce, does that make me a terrible person?), but the flaking chrome on the handles was annoying and the extra space needed to load up the dumbbell drove my wife crazy. These are the perfect middle ground. Stainless steel knurled handles, stores compactly, quick enough weight changes, and made in the USA.

Way back in time, when everyone was coughing and wheezing from the 'Rona, there was not a weight plate to be found. The Corona led me on a pilgrimage to an industrial park in a city far away to buy the only plates I could find, the American Barbell Rubber Olympic Plates. While I've often looked fondly at the Strength Co and Rogue Deep Dish plates, I've stuck with these for a few specific reasons. 1. I train early in the morning, and these plates are legitimately quiet/muted coming on/off the bar. 2. My gym space is small, and getting the plates on/off the storage pins is much easier with the 4 handle design of these plates. Having said all that, unless you're looking for plates that have the qualities I mentioned above, I can't imagine these being your best option.

I bought this cart before dumbbell carts were cool which is another way of saying I didn't have any other options. At the time, other dumbbell carts were cheaply made and nowhere close in quality to this monster, but now the landscape has obviously changed and I doubt this is the best you can do. Having said all that, I've found the utility of this card to be fantastic. Great platform for Power Blocks, plenty of room underneath to store kettlebells, and lots of holes for band pegs/other storage. In summary, unless you can find it used, you're probably better off going with one of the smaller manufacturers.

I bought this 5 years ago and have since upgraded the old vinyl pad with the newer foam style from Rogue. The newer pad style has been a huge upgrade from the slick vinyl but I wouldn't call it "grippy", probably somewhere in the middle with light texture. I've got no complaints about this bench (light, stable, and easy to roll around in tight spaces) other than the fact that when it came the quality control from Rogue was a complete joke requiring them to send me 2 different handles. By now I'm sure they have that sorted out, and if you want a bombproof flat bench made in the USA, this is a great option.
