I have York standard 1" plates both wide letter and close letter. These have served me specifically for the last 40 years and will continue to serve me and my kids after I am gone. Probably the best looking 1" plates ever made as well. I have these 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10, 12.5, 20, 25 and 50 pound increments totaling around 700lbs total. Most of my plates were purchased by my dad prior to 1980. I have two older York 50s and two newer York 50s that were purchased in the 1980s. The last pig iron my dad purchased before we made the move to Olympic 2" plates. I use them on my cable machine, leg extension and for loading pins mostly. But I do have a couple 1" barbells that I still use from time to time.

I have two of these from the 1990s, they are my landmine bars. One came with my Cap weight set I bought when 1st dipping my toe into 2 inch Olympic barbells. Note, my gym was just 700lbs of York standard at that time. Anyway, say what you want, but I still have both of these and the sleeves still rotate on mine. Maybe the older quality was better. I still only use them for landmine stuff.

I picked this up as a Rolling thunder alternative. I just call it a rolling handle and love messing around with it to see what I can lift off the ground with each hand. It is honestly pretty well built and you cannot beat the value.

Honestly you cannot afford to not have this bar in your gym. Well made and at an incredibly fair price.

I have the max versions, which I bought while they were running a special that allowed me to upgrade to the max for a few dollars. The standard price for the max ones is far too high. If these were cheaper, I would probably buy a few pairs and make a bunch of pro style dumbbells with them. I think they feel pretty good, but they are a pain in the ass to change the weight. So I have a set weight in my pair that I sometimes do incline curls with and that is about it. It might have been a supply chain issue when I purchased mine, but they took like 4 months to arrive. I am assuming that is much better now.

I have an Ohio Power Bar from their Boneyard and scored it for $150. I cannot find anything wrong with the bar, I leave this one in the rack for squats. It's a great bar.

I have the blue cerakote version and it really pops. This bar is my daily driver for all pressing movements. The knurling is awesome and whenever she looks a little dull a barbell rescue brush brings her back to looking like the day I bought her. The beveling on the edge of the sleeves makes it the perfect bar for my York and Strength Co plates that have a tighter tolerance. The plates slip right on the bar.

This is the only piece I use from the lat pull down position. This is well made, and replaces 3 different sizes that you might buy. I use the wide grip mostly, it just feels fantastic.
