I had the older version of this for about 5 years. Structurally it was the same, but the padding was slightly lower quality than the updated version. Adjustments were very easy, but the back footplate was always a little wobbly. My favorite thing about it is the band pegs that run parallel to the machine - it made it really easy to put a band around it for banded GHRs. I got it on Marketplace for a good deal and sold it last time I moved. Haven’t decided if I want to get another one due to the space it takes up for the relatively small number of exercises. Solid piece though and I’d buy it again!

Picked this up on marketplace for $100. It’s cheap but gets the job done for my training. I wasn’t willing to spend much more on a machine that’s only used for accessories maybe once a week. I have low ceilings and this fits just fine. I can’t get a full stretch on lat pulldowns (I’m 5’9”) so I took a few stars off for that. I primarily use it for triceps and low rows, so the fact that the lat pulldown part is short doesn’t bother me too much. I cut the end cap off the top section so I can do face pulls without the cable rubbing against the metal. If you want something even remotely higher quality, then pass on this.

I’ve used this almost every week for the last 9 years or so. If I was to nitpick, it can get a bit slick if I’m really sweaty (no duh). Chalk and wiping it with a towel helps with that. I never understood the appeal of the Mutant Metals adjustable dip attachment besides it looking cooler (to be fair I’ve never used it). This gets the job done for me and I see no reason to get anything else for upper body squats.

Great kettlebells. I like the powder coating much more than the newer E-coat version. I own 26 lbs up to 70 lbs and have used up to 150 lbs at a gym. They’re all solid options. I’ve owned mine for 10 years and have had no complaints. If you’re going to buy new, I’d suggest waiting until they have shipping deals around November.

I used these at a commercial gym for several weeks. Tight tolerances on the sleeve, lower bounce, and they look great IMO. Some of the inner discs were slightly loose on the 25s, but I suspect that is from heavy use at a big commercial gym. I’d definitely buy these for my home gym and plan to do so once I can justify the cost to my whyfe

These were the first plates I bought for my gym in 2013 when there were fewer options. They are not a good option for powerlifting/strength training due to the thickness and diameter (mine are smaller than Olympic plates), especially if you squat/deadlift over 4 plates. There are much, much better bumper plate options for similar prices. I think the best use cases for them are: 1) if you need extra plates for outdoor or strongman training where you don’t mind if they get beat up. Or 2) you’re in the “weight is weight” camp and you just want some bumpers to get the job done and don’t care about the downsides of these plates. Definitely buy these secondhand if you do want them.

Upgraded from horse stall mats to these when I moved houses. I debated between 1/2” and 3/8” for a while, but decided on 3/8” since I’ll be deadlifting on a platform and using crash pads for olympic lifts. So I think these will be just fine. I went with blue and grey fleck and they sure do POP! It immediately made my gym look much nicer. My whyfe even commented on how good it looks. Installation was a piece of cake. The hardest part was moving my rack and other equipment around. It took me exactly 3 hours to install 60 tiles (about 240 sq ft) in my garage. Fortunately I didn’t need to make any odd cuts, so that sped up the process. I only needed to cut the edge and corner pieces. I went back over the tiles and pressed on the seams the next day- now they are hardly visible. There was a very slight odor when I opened the boxes, but that went away after a few hours. Recommend fresh razor blades, a straightedge, and rubber mallet for installation. The ordering process was easy and the shipping cost was surprisingly reasonable from North Carolina to California. Code MASS saved me a few dollhairs too!

It lifts up the bar and is not too expensive. Fits an axle bar which is nice. What more could you ask for.
