It’s very hard to fill it to the desired weight and make sure there isn’t any movement in the bag. The bag on the outside is pretty much just a cover for a plastic bag on the inside with a zip tie on it. Haven’t been able to rip it though

I don’t think they would be worth it to buy brand new. The stones themselves are slippery until some of the finish gets worn off, then they become very slippery. Chalk seems to fix the problem.

Solid as a rock when filled up to the brim. They don’t move around or become floppy unless they’re under filled. The zipper and Velcro combo really makes sure nothing leaks out.

They’re exactly the weight they say they are. Also excellent for hub lifting. A little pricey for 70 year old plates though

It’s a fairly cheap axle that weights 27lbs. It bends fairly easily if you drop it from too high a height even on to some pads.

Weighs 40lbs empty. It can be used in its normal position, inverted, backwards and inverted and backwards. That makes for a tonne of grip angles and ranges of motion. The welds are beefy and it hasn’t rusted after being in a shed for a few years

It’s the standard plate. Weighs between 43-47 lbs, not great but does the job of being something to lift
