It’s not just for power rack accessories, it also works very well as a homemade tsunami bar collar when combined with a piece of plywood. I used a 5/8 pin, I was afraid of putting a 1” hole in the pvc.

Another score from the local F45 that was shutting down. It’s clearly a knock off of Rep’s sled. The removable weight horn makes it great for loading sandbags on, then dragging it back. It’s clearly designed for indoor use though, the first try on the driveway resulted in some pretty big gouges in the metal. It’s only used in the park now.

A 16*16 piece of 3/4” plywood over anything makes a DIY deadlift block. 2” block is a bumper plate, 3” is a 45 or a mountain bike tire, 6” is a car tire and 8” is a stolen tire from a Porsche. Sometimes I’ll put a 2.5 behind the weights to stop them from rolling around if it gets too heavy. Putting a mark on top to denote the centre also helps.

The most basic deadlift jack is a 2.5lb plate. Simply place the plate infront of the 45 closest to the collar and roll the weights onto the 2.5. It raises them all off the ground high enough that you can take all the other plates off.

Got a different version of these in a pandemic special from a local business. Mine atleast have a spot to put plates to help stabilize it a bit. Knowing what I know now, these things are so unsafe for squatting or benching. Not to mention you look like a jackass benching in them. They’re currently in storage but I will be using them in the summer for pressing a log outside.

I bought this at the start of the pandy when stuff was still cheap. I used it almost everyday for at home work outs and it has taken a beating. It’s a little louder than some other companies, maybe due to a cheaper casing? Now that it’s kind of fallen out of favour with my training it works real well as a warm up for bag tosses.

It’s kind of over priced for what it is, especially if it comes with the dvd and book. I used it in an apartment and the attachment for using it on a door never failed over a two year period. It has since been replaced by rings now that I have a home gym setup.

It’s a nice set of rings, the large numbers make it easy to ensure both rings are the same length. You might want to take some sand paper to them before you use them just to make sure they’re as smooth of they can be.
